Have a 05 with Megan header, downpipe, hks muffler and test pipe. 280 cams, manual boost controller, greddy blow off back into aem cold air intake, k&n filter, 255 fuel pump.

In the end car makes 300/300. Mustang dyno.

Tuner stated Injectors are maxed out. Suggestions? Comments?

 

I've seen tuners recommend injectors on some cars but the majority slide by. How much boost was this at btw?

 

22-23 psi

 

1000cc injectors are a pretty common upgrade for people running pump and E85 up to about 5-550whp and can be made to run the car as a DD very well. Plus if the tuner is right about them being maxed you wont want to run them too long that way, injectors should be sized to about 80-85% duty cycle if you want them to last and run safely.

 

I have an intake 272s and a ic with the rest of your boltons too, never needed injectors. Made 339/351 22psi dynojet fwiw.

There is either a fuel issue like a bad pump, or something else. Havent met anyone with a car with my mods needs injectors. And they all make more power than I.

 

That happens alot, Evos even stock to stock have huge power differences.

 

get a better tuner

 

Thats pretty decent power for a mustang dyno.. MRdevo was on a dynojet whci reads 10/15% higher.. so you would be around 330 on a dynojet.. that not bad for the low boost either!
