well let see where do i start, My goal with this car is simple just a all around performer to run the "TRACK NUMBERS" i want.
well the first goal is to take the stock block stock VIII turbo record which i have found to be set by 4G63GIRL from STM. Her car ran 11.38 much respect goes to them. If i am wrong on them having that record please let me know. I know otheres have gone faster on the VIII turbo but those were built motors to my understanding.

so with the goal set i begin my way to make it happen.

Now I contacted Rick@Rallinspired and spoke with him about my plans and goals and if he wanted to jump on board. well he did and the journey began.

So short and simple the tunes were made for both 91@24psi and E85@27psi

I only got 1 track session in before i leave for texas for the winter and the track was terrible hell i even spun in 3rd gear and went sideways. car only ran a 7.7@93.7
altho the E.T isnt good enough i was happy with the trap speed. Being my first time on the track since selling my old EVO back in fall of 2007.

I have a Bucshur ported exhaust manifold already, i will be doing a ported 10.5 and o2 housing and go up to a bigger/better cam for install next and tune again to see what gains are on the table.

That was an evo 9 with an FP HTA green turbo and a buschur 10:1 comp 2 liter, along with a fairly long mod list. Nowhere close to a stock evo 8 motor with a stock 8 turbo. He was on "pump gas" though he admits to dousing it with e85 for octane booster.

I don't think Shawna has the record for the 8 turbo but she did go pretty fast.

Mark has the fastest stock turbo Evo this year with a 10.6@128.

Thank you guys , this car is indeed a blast to drive. Ive had my share of fast/built cars but this one takes the cake for me.

as far as the cars/people named above i am aware that some of gone faster/quicker but those were built motors or had 9 turbos.

from all the searching i have done the fastest VIII turbo/stock block was Shawna.

Marks car is FAST. but hell its a 9 on slicks too.

my plan is to get what i can out of it all on a street tire no slicks no drag radial just drive her there and give it a go. If i can get there i get there but it will be fun trying to at least LOL.

ill be running my E85 dry this week then throw in the 91 for my road trip to texas. and once im back in SOCAL in the spring hopefully i have added the items i need for some more ponies and hit up the track again.

There is a guy on here with a red rs on a evo 8 turbo that went 10s also, I can't think of his screen name of the top of my head though.
