FP RED Evo8 expectations??

Dear All,

I am going to install my FP RED soon. I only wanted to know how much whp & wtq shall I expect with the following modufication:

HKS 264i/272e cams
Vishnu cam gears
BC springs and Retainers
ARP Head Studs
ARP Conrod studs
HKS Air intake
Custom Intercooler piping
SSQV blow off valve
Exedy Twin Clutch
Boucher Full turbo Exhaust
RC 750cc injectors
APR fuel Regulator
HKS 1.2mm HeadGaskit

Keeping on Mind that the car will be tuned on 93oct fuel.

no body can tell you, it all depends on your tune and other things like that. I say about 375 if i have to guess.

depends on the tune, dyno etc. many variables. best thing for you to do is to make sure you have a set of fresh plugs gapped propertly and do a boost leak test prior to the tune. also ask your tuner what comprable cars have done so you have a rough baseline to work from.

also on a side note i do not think this bov (SSQV blow off valve) works to well on our cars and do you have a Front Mount Intercooler. You might want to invest in one.

I don't know how much power you"ll make, but I can tell you those HKS cams will hold you back. If you already have springs and retainers installed, I would look to run something more aggressive such as Kelford 272, GSC S2, or FP4R's. Good Luck.

well to give u an idea, ive got similar mods to u , but a couple more, and in the mid of july on 91 octane only i made 385 on a dynojet, but i had hks 272 i&e cams, so with your mods if your goin on a dynojet dependin on 91 or 93 octane, im gonna give u a ball park of 350-400whp...dependin on ambient temp etc....

You need o2 housing and better cams.

Maybe even injectors and you can break the 400 whp barrier.

if on stock front mount the car will be very held back.. but if it has atleast a decent 3.5" id say it will make about 450 dynojet on 93oct.

seems like a lot of work to get 450, sounds like it would be way more than that to me.

keep in mind its 93octane. i did a fp green 73hta @ 24psi making 430whp. the red is bigger then the fp green, so there is more power yes.. but if theres any kind of bottleneck at all in the mod list the power is out the window and wont be possible to achieve.

hi,

I got my new fresh HKS plugs on hand already, my tuner did an Evo9 with tomei arms and he managed to get 390whp/370wtq, and as per my knowllege that the RED can do much better than Arms.

I have stock intercooler though

Its more than just the turbo you need the right intercooler, cams, injectores and ect to make power.
