not instant 1.3L spinning a single BBK would be homo. 2.6 liter and a single 67mm or larger would be cool though.

I would vote to bore it out to 2.9L...if you're only going to go to 2.6, stay with a 64.

From a roll.If I were to keep my Evo for highway racing and drag the PTE-6262 or FP black would be better choice. On the dyno it might put down low numbers but it will spool much faster and brake boosting will also help in the run.Basically it all depends on your setup. What are you revving the engine up to.Do you have good power band?.I have seen some drag cars with a 42R they have nitrous to shoot them off the line.I got a lot to think about.I will be soon building an Evo for highway and drag racing.I got some setups in mind.

Highway racing, love it.

A few years ago when we got back into the Subaru's I bought a 2006 Subaru WRX TR. That's the RS style WRX, 2.5 liter. The car ran 12.0. The torque it made was stupid high compared to the WHP. It used a stock STi turbo and STi top mount, pump gas etc.

Eric was following me in his EVO, EVO was a stock 2 liter, FP Green, cams etc. Had run a best of 11.0 at 128 on E85. I believe the day this story took place he was on E85. Anyway, he attempted to pass me from about 45 mph, the Subaru beat him so bad through 2 gears he just gave up. He would have eventually ran me down but the distance that torque put on him was embarrassing. It was embarrassing for me too as we built his EVO and the last thing I expected was a Subaru to whoop up on this 11.0 EVO.

I don't know how many times I can say it but there is more to being fast than the far right side of a dyno graph.

Agreed, I know where you coming from because my cousin who had a 2010 335i Intake,Exhaust,JB3 and Meth 430hp and 450tq Vs. Ported Blower,Intake,Exhaust,Tune and Pully 2003 Cobra pushing 525hp and 570tq the race was dead even.

There are more than a few local small block and big blocks that now understand 140ci and a broad powerband are more deadly than they anticipated.

I need to stop racing for beer though
