Just what I expected. Now all you need to do is throw on a nice IM. Let the games begin on that one.

His graph shows the HTA Green holding 30psi to 7500 which is fine for my goals. This thread has me anxious to install my 2.4 with my Red. I wonder how the Red will place in between the two. Does the 2.3+HTA Green bring back that violent hit of a maxed out stock turbo? That's what I'm looking for with a 2.4+Red. I may even go the HTA Green route too though.

Curt, did you try adjusting the exhaust cam? I was able to shift my powerband a few hundred rpms.

I take the black over all the above though. with perfect afr and tuning downlow you can get full boost before 4k on it with a stroker.
+1 It appears that the FP Black gives you the best of both worlds.

No, with regards to the power hit / onset.....there is so much there already....

I wish i had the time to run less boost up top..... I think thats why the turbo stopped making power for me....

I know with the tme, i had the w/g actuator cranked down..... i then loosened it up a bit, i still ran the same boost level, but made more power up top, ~10whp. I beleive this was due to less little backpressure.

I ran a fp-red on my stock block / 91 octane & that turbo was awesome imo.

Very informative thread, thanks for the comparisons.

I'm looking at doing a 2.4L build 9.5 or 10:1 compression. I planned to run dual maps, e85 for power and a 98 (93 over here in usa) tune as its my daily. Wondering how much spool id gain with the extra 0.1L, im guessing not much.
