Don't fret it, man. The potential is all there....just one final piece of the puzzle is left.
Post the update in this thread in a couple of months when you get a set of cams installed. It will be night and day.

I will for sure I might just get cams here sooner than I thought but I have a question GCS S1 or S2 and also do I need upgraded valvetrain or not.......... I would appreciate any input or even the Kelfords.

Seems a bit low at 28 psi and for a dynojet.

I,ll go S1 if I were you without valvetrain needed.

^^So i take it that S2 and the Kelfords require new valvetrain, and on the numbers out of curosity what would say would be normal

Well there's a thread on here where an individual made 375whp on a dynapack with Kelfords. But he was only running 23 psi. Your output does seem a bit low for 28 psi, even with stock cams.

Here's the link:

^^I see what you mean maybe my mix of parts aren't playing nice with each other but with cams even they only give me 40-50hp that would put me around 370-380 so i think the numbers arent that far off, besides every car is different, i dont sweat the numbers too much as long the car is healthy and fun as hell which it is, I am happy

I'm right there with you bud...I'm not really into dyno numbers either. The turbo is capable of running high 10's-low 11's (according to IveyTuning) and is perfect for the street.

Happy boosting

Yeah its my dd so i really dont need or want anything over 400whp, and besides the occasional auto-x and track day I dont plan on drag racing it. Maybe just once to see what it runs.

Gotcha...just letting you know the potential it has. I thought that was pretty impressive for a turbo that's not really designed for drag

28 psi is definitely high for 91 (even for 93). something is not adding up. Maybe your boost gauge is not correct or otherwise you can tell your car not running right from knocking, spark blowing...

I was thinking the same. I know its a different dyno, but I made 334/342 on MAP's dynojet with intake and exhaust running 26-27 psi, stock everything else with my IX.

Oh well think of it this way, now you have room to grow!

CONGRATS!!! Really not bad for stock cams and on 91oct. Hell I would kill for full boost at 40mph in 3rd.

Well if there was something wrong with the car i think that we would have found it on the dyno or maybe not idk. I do know that Chad does great work and I'm sure if the car was knocking or blowing spark he would have noticed anyway, Yes full boost early on the powerband is awsome specially on the street
