Jestr Tuned VIII

My car is definitely very mild compared to the majority of the cars in this section. I figured I would post up my numbers anyways.

2003 Evo VIII
HKS intake
RS*R downpipe
RS*R catback
manual boost controller
Walbro 255

Before: 262whp/242tq at 18psi
After: 294whp/300tq at 25psi

The car picked up a total of 32whp and 58tq.

Big thanks to John for added power! Time for me to at least finish getting the rest of the bolt ons

Solid numbers for those mods.

I like those wheels... What are they?

Stock X wheels. They were cheap and better looking than the stock VIII wheels.

The stock 8 turbo isn't really good for anymore power past 25psi on pump gas...especially with a stock IC. You are exactly where you should be for ur mods. I made those exact numbers a few years ago with the same type of mods. Here's what you can expect in the future....I added hks 272 cams (which are now inferior to more current cams), ported exhaust mani, ported 10.5 turbine housing, upgraded IC and full piping...I'm now at 350/350 and the car hauls ***. I only mention this because ur numbers are identical to mine when I had the same mods as you, so u can prob expect similar gains as me...nice job and the car looks great with the X wheels!!

Thanks. John is an awesome tuner and I knew he would safely take the car to its full potential. I'll eventually get around to doing the rest of the bolt ons but horsepower isn't my main priority with this car. Shes getting setup for the corners . Good to know what my car would roughly make with a set of cams.

Nice to see someone post a bolt-on car dyno numbers. Seems like everyone only posts if they have an upgraded turbo now days.
