Yep, what Mellon said, remember that a leak very well can result in the turbo compensating, you see 32PSI, it's pushing 37PSI just creating heat. Not holding boost does not = no boost leaks.

I agree with boost leaks. Its pretty amazing how many little leaks there are on a stock car. Heck, I spent about 10 hours working on my intercooler piping, couplers and reference lines making sure that none of them leaked.

Good luck!

and this is why you'll make more power for the mods/boost/octane than the average joe that doesn't take the time to make sure their car is ready to be tuned.

Update:

Stopped by the same shop this morning and I was very pleased with the results, effort, and customer service. I want to give this shop major props because what they did was pretty stand-up and they walked me through every test.

They provided me with a FULL diagnostic test. They conducted a boost leak test, compression test, checked plugs, checked my mechanical timing, and a leak down test. There were 0 boost leaks, the plugs were changed but looked ok, the timing was on point, and most importantly the compression test was good. Needless to say mechanically my evo checked out just fine.

I have since added a Grimmspeed 3 port so hopefully that will eliminate that boost issue that I was having with the Hallman. I]m contemplating upgraded to 1200cc's to try this E85 monster out. Just ordered my alternative fuel map switch from Buschur a few minutes ago just in case. For now, I'm just gonna take baby steps and see what happens on 93 octane first.

I will be throwing the car back on the dyno as soon as the tuner gets back in town. I will update the post accordingly as I am very optimistic this time will be a success.

Thanks for the suggestions yall

hate to say this.. but you can map switch with the gas pedal via TPS switch lol.. you didnt need to buy a map switch to be able to change maps.. maybe if its a meth switch then yes.

True that but its just something about that LED and toggle switch that makes me feel a little more at ease. If you do it with the pedal dont you lose a feature??? I want to say that I heard you lose the 2-step feature. Again thats just what I heard.
