maybe if you set it to a smoothing of 60 and no weather correction.. then yes.. horsepower goes way up with little smoothing. all of buschurs printouts are with no correction and 60 smoothing.

kinda like VDR huh, take a few pound off the weight, run some small tires, drive with the wind and down a slight grade and you have 601whp

you mean VD.. Virtual Dyno Room is non existent anymore.. we use VD.. and i want to see acrees car on VD but he wont do it.. I am willing to bet you it doesn't even make 650 dynojet in VD in 3rd gear.

either way, im happy hes finally got his car up and running.. after everything hes went through.. putting the ball joint on wrong and having his car collapse going into a gas station etc.. the list goes on and on. yes i know all the details.

and i am also aware you had to disassemble his entire engine and rebuild it from scratch due to another unknown place screwing it up so bad.

You make it sound like I ran into a gas station and it went up in a ball of fire

To tell you the truth, I really don't care about a pissing contest over the numbers. I care about the performance of the car, getting the most out of my combination, and trying to make it last.

VDR/VD/Mustang/Dynojet - don't give a rats @ss. My car will burn the rubber all the way through 3rd. It's plenty fast.

Hah, I'm pretty sure this car will never see 40psi as long as I own it. The last thing I can afford right now is a spun bearing. I do have say, most of parts selection was based off your setup.

The next money pit I plan on is wheels/tires, and then LED projects... full headlights, tail lights, interior, etc.

I am pretty confident that once the new intake goes on with the SD tune, I will be able to break 650hp at 33psi. That puts me well into the 700hp range on a dynojet at 33psi, and I think that's pretty ridiculous.

Nice build, time to let the track times do the talking At this power the car should have no problem trapping high 130's assuming you rev that high.

Still on the stock ignition. Plugs are gapped to 0.020.

This car won't see the 1/4 mile anytime in the near future. I'm still on the stock transmission and transfer case. Both are holding up nicely. I still have a year left until I graduate, so no breaking things until I'm out.
