654 whp on a mustang dyno will be roughly 730whp on a dynojet? I think that IDC on 1450's will be in the 90% making 654whp? I've seen a few cars make 700+ on 1600cc's I don't know how they do it because most of the people making 700whp range use FIC 2150's or ID 2000's. I have Fic 1600cc injectors with full-blown newer version with 2 modded walbros ,Perrin fuel rail ,Aeromotive Fpr, -8 feed -6 return fuel lines and Im debating wether getting tuned on the 1600's or getting FIC's 2150 before wasting $450 on a tune and runing out of fuel and having to pay dyno time and tuner again. Some people have told me I will have enough fuel to make 750whp on the 1600's. Anyways, congrats on the build I really like this car props to you man enjoy your beast.

yeah thanks, my tuner has a test rig for injectors and i will msot certainly max out my buschur double pumper BEFORE i run out of fuel in the injectors so since thats what he suggests and is comfortable, thats what i will trust. yeah i understand not wanting to retune for new injectors. i really like the id2000's. i actually work in the town that t1 race is in and have known tony for a few years now. so maybe in the future if i turn the wick up and need more fuel i will get the id's. until then this will suffice. my goal is to go out and get a 10sec pass on its current power and setup. i may remove some simple interior pieces and lower my tire pressure more. oh and for reference my buddy made 730 on the same mustang dyno with the 1600 fic's 6765 at 38psi, still had some room in them.

thanks for the good comments, i really enjoy the car. i went from a prelude that made 184whp to a 654whp car with awd so it still scares the **** out of me lol. you seem to have made some good power as well. do you have a thread?

I made the #'s posted in my signature in 2009 ran the car hard for 1.5 years. I started my 2.0l build January 25 2011 and finished it June 14th or so broke it in and ready to go to kill mode, the only thing that's holding me back is the injectors . The very first time I switched to e85 I had a walbro 255 in tank and 1 in line and ran out pump at 500whp so I had to buy a double pumper and go back to the dyno 5 days later and pay for a tune plus dyno time again and that's what I'm trying to avoid this time. once, I go to the dyno I want to be ready 110%. wow going from 184hp car to a stock EVO is pretty drastic change imagine 650AWHP= Scary !!!!

yeah its a very big difference. when i had it i met alot of cool people, still talk to many of them. we actually turbo'ed my buddies 01 lude with a standard 35r and it made 368whp on 11psi. we stayed up the entire night before his morning tune schedual to remove all the stock stuff and put on the turbo stuff. and after that i did most of the wrenching on the car after he moved in with me in my town home at the time.

LOVE the vent on the hood, but not the outer ones. Wonder if you can get a CF stock looking with the front vent?

Not sure. Havent seen one yet. I'm also contemplating turning my dumptube up to stick out of the hood. We will see if I have room. Plus I want it to be real clean if o do not hacked up.

Love the dump tube idea. I aldo wanted to do it. My concern would be driving or been park while raining. All that water accumulated in the tube couldnt be good.

It won't collect that much water. And what it does collect will just shoot out like a geyser when you open the wastage driving.
