I don't think that boost plot/reading is right. If you were only doing 24 psi on the dyno there is no way your all of a sudden doing 34+.

Out of curiosity, why did you stop at 30psi? To keep it safe? Limit power?

Not like there is anything wrong with that, but EvoM has me used to seeing 40psi with an fp black and a built motor.

They did a conservative tune on it for 93 oct.

Wait so your evoscan logs show different boost then VD is graphing?

And I think he meant your Q16 tune, 30 seems pretty low for a built motor and that fuel.
Your amount of supporting mods is pretty extensive.

I don't know why they only tuned it for 30 psi on Q16. I think he said some about it did matter that if he tuned it for 30 or higher that it would do the same numbers. I guess because I am not going that high in rpm. Maybe I could him to chime in on this write up. So he could explain.

For some reason it seems really laggy. Not even hitting 30psi till 5k... It have more lag then my single scroll fp black.

This is what my tuner said:
It was making 615 at that boost, so why push it. You have 1200 cc injectors, the duty cycle is pretty high at that power level. Can't really afford to go much higher.

your statement had nothing to do with what I was talking about. I was talking about lag, not peak power!!!

What I wrote was to someone else's statement. I have no clue on why it doesn't hit full boost til 5k. When I drive it goes through the rpms quick. But if I do just a 4th gear pull yeah it is laggy.

I am wondering if I should change my grim speed EBC or to a MBC. What do you all think?

honestly dude? i couldnt get my car to hit peak tq any sooner then 5k with ecu boost.. and when i switched the vac lines back to my hallman pro i got it at 4500rpm.. so yes go back to MBC.. ecu boost is fine and dandy for smaller frame turbos that need more assistant uptop then downlow.. but on setups like ours i do not recommend them one bit.. i had roadspike look over the code where the ecu maintains 100% WGDC for spoolup and theres a bug/issue with it where it cycles off and on from 100% to 0% so the wastegate bleeds exhaust gases as you're trying to spool the turbo.. definitely not cool.

95F outside.. but the red lines ecu boost.. blue line hallman. (tunes very conservative at peak tq i dropped back 2-3* so theres way more tq in it) and when i swapped back to the hallman the car was night and day.. was spinning 1st hard i have 255/35/18's potenza RE11's with a full suspension with bushings and all.

with a 2.3-2.4 and fp black you should have peak torque occur by 4500rpm with a perfect tune.
