Nice gains! I've always worried about slower spool with larger intercoolers. None on the dyno! Enjoy.

I wonder how much of a gain I would see over my ginormous HKS intercooler. I had the HKS fmic and all piping on the car when I got it, but I'm not sure how great it is. It can't be too bad since I broke 400 whp with 2.5'' downpipe and stock exhaust mani.

i was browsing a thread yesterday on intercooler testing, and i believe john bradley said the hks race was pretty crappy.

my ets 3.5 is awesome. in 86 degrees and 65% humidity car car will repeatedly produce 330whp/~300tq in VD and allow 15* at 7k without even blinking.

well not to hijack ur thread, but im gonna post one soon, ive been running an xs engineering 3.0" ic, and swapping for the wide tank ets 3.5" along with cams intake mani tb, if pulling 20 more hp by itself, im assumin the gains would be higher with my setup, cant wait for mine to come in to swap this ic on, looks good in my bonus room however looks better on the car. Nice work, need some more mods maybe some e85 put that stocker on steroids and make 400+ haha

I ended up installing mine a few weekends ago and the fitment was great. Went on without any problems at all and it looks awesome. I almost feel bad driving the car now because I don't want it to get all beat up.

Got tuned and ended up making ~330 whp on a Mustang Dyno.. not too shabby considering I'm still on stock injectors, stock o2 housing and a stock DV.

Ets: what is the price and power difference with one of your IC cores vs. a Garett core?

Also, do you have a 3.5" or 4.0" that fits the Subaru bumper?

Thx,

Carmi

The ETS core'd 3.5" is $599.

The ETS core'd 4" is $699.

An ETS made, Garrett core'd 3.8" is $699

ETS will say their 4" is better then the 3.8", but most tuners/other shop will disagree and say the Garrett is better.

And yes, they do make a 3.5" and 4" IC for the subarus.
