Thanks. I know how easy it is to delete fuel cut, but I'd rather my car was a bit slower than have to worry it was going to commit suicide every time I go WOT. I did a couple more logs yesterday and managed to avoid the fuel cut by dropping the TPS back to about 80 at 5000 rpm then going WOT again. It appears to just happen over long uninterrupted boost like doing 3rd gear pulls.

 

Wouldn't that cone air filter easily get wet with rain or washing?

I wish these wagons are available here in the states

It probably gets a bit wet when I drive in rain but I'm never going that fast in the rain or going WOT to suck the water through.

You are not alone with that wish. Only 2500 made and none left Japan without going through an external exporter.

Do you have ACD stuff on your car? If you do, where is the pump/res, etc? In the rear?

 

Yeah it has ACD, just doesn't have AYC like the JDM sedans. ACD res is in the boot. See pic.
