FINALLY! Dyno Results for my 05 VIII w/ IX turbo, kelford 272, and meth

So there was a Dyno Day at Kelly Moss here in Madison WI...
they got a new facility and have their Mustang Dyno installed...
decided to go get my car dyno'd...

Heres the mod list:

Stock Block
Kelford 272 cams
Manley Springs/Retainers
ARP Headstuds
IX Turbo (Unmodified with Stock IX WGA)
MAP o2 Dump housing
Megan DP
Racing Test Pipe
Custom Made Catback Exhaust (Straight 3" to OBX Resonator and Pilot 4" Tip)
Grimmspeed MBC @ 25psi
Spoolin'Up DIY COP
NGK BPR7ES (ungapped right out of box)
Intake and Adapter from O'Reilly Auto Parts (Spectre Stainless Steel)
Synapse Synchronic DV
OBX FMIC
AMS LICP
Stock UICP
Cusco Twin Disk
Tuned by the Kunal (see sig)

Heres the vid of the 3 pulls:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS67UHFKkOQ

first 2 runs are up to 8000rpm, last one is 7500 rpm...

and the results:
361 whp
340 tq

tell me what you think?

I feel like the powerband is bad...peak doesnt hit til like close to 5000rpm...my boost hits like 20psi then slowly gets to 25psi...I was told by a couple people that I might have a boost leak...

input would be appreciated!

i agree with some people

you should see full boost around 3500 or before. your peak tq should be right about there too

thats what i thought...lol

im going to do a boost leak test today...but i have a really good feeling that its due to the way my WGA is installed...

i wasnt sure where to set it when i installed the turbo, so i dont know if its opening properly...

this is just the stock WGA and i wasnt sure where to set it...ive done searches but all of them are for people with aftermarket wga...

When its bolted on your turbo it should have a slight pretension on it , Should not be able to slide it on and off the Wastegate arm without pulling on the actuator a little.

This goes for anyone wanting to run considerably higher boost then stock .

Everyone should do a boost leak test before dyno tuning, decent top number but the laggyness can be cured.

if you did too much pretension you would get a wicked spike

With too much pretension it should reach target boost quickly , You should check elsewhere for your slow boost curve , It would have to be a large boost leak to have that effect , thats why the WGA seems more likely!

why would you put in plugs without checking the gap?

I was asking myself the same thing. The copper plugs don't come pregapped.

To the contrary, you probably have the WG set with too little pretension. First, resolve the issue as to whether or not there is a boost leak. Then we'll setup the pretension so as that turbo will spoolup decently.

It could also be that te tuner set the WGDC so that the peak TQ doesn't hit early in the powerband. Tryin to go easy on the stock bottom end.

Just a thought only way to find out is from tuner or ROM.

the car is tuned on the gap of the plugs being right out the box. thats why. they all come out the box at the same gap.
