AFI Stock Replacement vs. OEM Ported Manifold

I did some testing for AFI Turbo who is local to me here in AZ,
This is their 2011 Revised stock replacement manifold. I was originally going to be testing for results with my HKS GTII 7460r turbo but that blew on me back in July. After that thing took a crap (only 8months on the car @ 30psi) I picked up a stock evo 8 turbo with the 10.5 housing just so i had something to scoot around with until i pickup a better turbo.

Mod list:
2003 Evo 8
Drop in Built motor 10.5:1 CR w/ eagle rods
ARP L19's
FIC1450cc
Wingz Double Pumper
GSC S2 cams
Custom IC Piping and wide 3.5in IC
Custom 3in SD Intake
Tuned on SD by Phuong @ Wingz Performance
Boost- Spiking to 33psi and tapering to almost nothing lol

Things to point out- I did not realized until after the results were in that we had started the pulls the last time on the stock ported manifold @ 3k
THEREFORE THE GAINS SHOW From the start of the pull to around 4k are just because of starting the pull earlier, Im sure you all know starting the pull sooner does affect spool/ early torque drastically.

NOTICE THE GAINS FROM 5kish On it holds power and torque further out in the RPM Range.

Run with Smoothing set to 5 to help show the gains

Run with No Smoothing

Runs shown in SAE to get the most comparable results since these were done on different days

Very nice gains. Glad to see some positive result for a tubular stock replacement manifold. Also glad you posted about the difference in starting point on the runs, as that was the first thing I noticed

Can't wait to see more results as more customers test these manifolds out. Very promising. . .

Nice gains! Is that on stock turbo or the HKS unit?
