2005 Evo 8 E85 Stock Turbo 360/410
Had my car dynoed yesterday with my current setup, consisting of:
05 Stock Turbo
HKS 272 Cams
FIC 950s
Walbro 255fp
AGP FMIC
Injen Intake
Injen LICP/UICP
EPM O2 Dump
3" TiTek Downpipe
Greddy 3" Ti Catback
Forge 25# wastegate
Forge BOV
SpoolinUp COP
ACT MB7-HDSS Clutch
Gruppe-S Lightened Flywheel
Halman Pro-RX MBC @ 27psi
Numbers are uncorrected
Huge thanks to my tuner as always Phuong @ Wingz Performance...doing big things with e85 Evo's! Multiple 500whp+ cars showed up yesterday, running with absolutely no hiccups.
Car is so much fun to drive, and that torque hit is intense. Will be upgrading to a IX turbo and hoping for 400+ in 2012

Your torque is awesome, but i'm pretty sure you're lacking a little up top. I run an HKS 264/272 cam setup and made 353 on my stock turbo on 93 octane. Do you know how much boost you're holding up top and how much timing?

Meh, boost drops off very quickly, it always has with my car. I'm spiking 27psi, and holding about 20/21 at redline. This is with the already upgraded Forge WGA.
I'm very happy with the numbers, as the car feels so healthy and alive on the street.
Wingz Performance has some of the best running / most powerful e85 cars in Arizona, so believe me when I say, he knows what he's doing

Can't be disappointed with 360/410 on a stock turbo Evo!

Thanks, our tuner is known for the crazy torque hits on e85 tuned Evo's. Hands down, best Evo tuner in AZ (as everyone locally already knows). Car runs/drives like stock!

As I already said, the boost dropping off quickly is most likely what is making the power be a tad bit under what it "should" be, but every car is different, and no two cars will put down the same numbers with the same mods ( as I'm sure you know!)
I'm confident the IX turbo and a little more boost will bump me up to 380-400, but that won't be until later on next year most likely. I'm having way too much fun with this setup!

if you are happy that's all that matters, but im letting you know there's more in your car as it sits.

if you're holding that boost you can make 400hp.. i do not reply to threads without reading all the details. ive read your comment above regarding the boost pressure, which is what triggered my response.

browse the forum for stock 8 turbos and you'll see you got a bad tune. hp & tq are 1:1 on all the stock turbos on e85 if the tuner knows what hes doing.

Here's just a few of the hundreds of stock turbo Evo's my tuners done:

Don't think I need any more proof that my tuner knows exactly what he's doing with stock turbo Evo's.
As for my car, it is what it is. I'm sure we could've raised the boost a pound or two and put down 370/380, this run was literally rolling into the dyno from the street tune he did over half a year ago. He bumped the timing down low a bit on the second run, as the weather is quite a bit cooler out here in the winter (vs. summer 115 heat), and the car didn't mind the additional timing at all. I certainly don't think anythings "wrong" (it's not like the car put down 285). There maybe a small boost leak somewhere, TB shaft seal that needs to be replaced, etc. I'm sure with some preparation I'd be able to squeeze 380 out of the setup. However, this was just a roll off the street dyno, and the car put down some great numbers. I wasn't expecting much on the stock turbo, so I'm more than happy with it!
