The install does not really need a kit to fit. Some slight cutting and it will go right in. We do use our rewire kit with them though.

Emery,

What is an estimate of what this would make on 93 pump 30psi? WHat was the key in making this power leap to over 600whp?

Nice work STM!! Are those torque solution motor mounts pretty stiff or would they be ok in a daily driver?

THat sounds like good #s. I cant believe e85 and 8 psi added near 125whp. It makes me feel dumb to run pump. Might as well get better fuel setup, build motor and run e85. performance gains are comical

funny but e85 is not pump gas. pump gas is a fuel available at the pump everywhere you go. Tampa is a big city with populous at 2 million. we just got first e85 pump that is 45 minute drive from my house. is that really pump gas??

not even close if you ask me. E85 being touted as pump gas is BIG trap I hope few fall into. if anyone in Tampa area wants to run E85 I built a tank for backyard that is for sale. allows for quick fill-ups. 270 gallon gravity feed. spent 300 building it will sell for 125.

With over 1900 gas stations in the US selling it out of a "pump" and more coming every day, what would you call it?

I would call it best race gas hands down. easy to find and cheap. but not pump gas. 1900 pumps is nothing. compared to 115,000 pump gas stations in USA and only 1900 hundred have E85? thats race gas availability pure and simple.

and should we fail to mention that it is unlawful to pump E85 into any car that is not approved for it? gas stations can be fined for doing so..

I assume then that because you can't get 93 octane at any pumps in tampa that it also is not a pump fuel?

E85 is a federally authorized fuel for use on public highways...sounds like pump fuel to me.

could you use some intelligence when you want to debate some good advice I give?

93 is available everywhere in florida. only 2% of stations nationwide carry E85.

E85 is federally authorized fuel for authorized cars. not for your modded evo. it is illegal in your evo. it is illegal to even pump into plastic gas can.

failing all logic I have developed my opinions on the fuel from actually using full time in my car with closest pump 70 miles away. what I found was the following:
your 14 gallon fuel tank becomes a 9 gallon tank. this offers very little range. further aggravating the problem of no gas stations really carry the fuel. I couldn't drive my car to sarasota and back, 60 miles one way. this is my closest drag strip. well I could but I would not be able to drag race unless I had spare tank of E85 in the trunk. pretty week as far as being touted practical. One day filling tank and went on canyon run with speed shop. got about 100 miles from house. all spirited driving. had to stop cruise short and limp home fearing I was going to run out of gas. I used my own 270 gallon tank. failing that you have to fear mixture quality of fuel or have expensive content analyzer on board that changes mixture for you. I think only a few on this board have done that.

you can argue all you want. E85 use in your car is just like using race gas all the time. only difference is the fuel is cheap and available at some pumps if you dont mind illegally pumping into a gas tank or your car. hell I dont really care if you want your car to run on the stuff. its Gods gift to turbo cars if you ask me. Its just not practical to us daily for 98% of us.
