evo 9 stock block / stock cams EF4 SD 93oct

sharing this so far, will update if we get more power, but it seems we are stuck right now. The owner is a military guy so he doesnt have a lot of free time and his work schedule seems pretty wild, so im posting his car for him.

We did have the car over 500, but then all the sudden it started to knock so i pulled the power way back.. it may have some issues in the downpipe hitting the oil pan, owner will inspect / change a few things later.

Mod list:

2006 Evo 9 MR (6spd)
STOCK block and head
STOCK cams
ETS tubular manifold
MAP o2 housing with external dump
Megan downpipe
UR test pipe
HKS Ti catback
MAP EF4 turbo with 25 psi WGA

ETS 3.5" FMIC
ETS LICP
ETS turbo inlet pipe
ETS UICP (non short route)
synapse BOV

walbro 255
sparktech COP
grimmspeed 3 port BCS
AEM wideband
OMNI 4 bar MAP sensor
PTE 1200cc injectors

Car is tuned on speed density via tephra v7 & ecu boost.

Here are the final numbers of todays tuning session:

Torque control is definitely being used here. We both agreed to keep torque around the 370 mark for safety and reliability of the stock block.

Here are some prior runs where i guess the vehicle had better quality fuel in it and i was able to push it alittle harder: (weight is higher here because his friend was in the car holding the laptop during these 2 runs)

if anyone wants to see the boost log or anything let me know.. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I don't think 460-470 is all that bad on a stock frame turbo with basic bolt on's and no cams and 93oct.

I just sent an email to my tuner telling that I would be elated if I were able to make nearly the same exact numbers as you just posted. At first, I thought you guys exchanged emails. This is fantastic. Go EF4!

Are you serious? I have seen you bash the EF4 in other threads about it being a "laggy turd". Did you have a change of heart?

Board politics dont allow people posting their honest opinions about products when those opinions make a product sound like a bad choice. So yes I had a change of heart.

You are alright in my book, my friend. Welcome to the family. My wife is sending me pictures of my EF4 to me here in Afghanistan to get my morale up.

Back on topic...

I cannot wait to get tuned in March as seeing these results lets me know that it is possible. I will be running pump/91 but I have all of the bells and whistles sitting in my garage that I have stashed away since deploying.

Thats very good power with stock cams 93 octane. If i were after top end power drag racing, roll ons, mile stuff, There is no better bang for the buck stock frame turbo out there.
