one of a kind evo 9 RS setup - 93oct SD

Note added: This car is for sale by the owner. He wants 19K OBO.
The car will be put back to stock for the most part & will be retuned by me so it
will drive like stock with good safe power after the mods are changed.
contact adam.boudreau210@gmail.com for more info

Tuned this car a few weeks ago. I know the owner wanted it shared so im posting it up for others to see.. His goal was to see how much power we could squeeze out of straight 93octane FL gas. I cant remember, but i think we used shell vpower.

The car is tuned on speed density with stock ecu and ecu boost.

here is the brief mod list:

Evo 9 RS 65k miles
Stock turbo
Ams f1i intake manifold
Full blown 70mm tb
Ets 4in ets 2.5 piping
Tial Q bov
Fp 25psi wga
Custom 3in intake/shield
Omni 4 bar
Pte 880's
Full 3in no cat
Aem wideband
Grimmspeed 3port
Gm IAT Spoolinup cable
Kelford 272 cams
Gsc springs/retainers
Arp headstuds Oem h/g
Aem exhaust cam gear
Spoolinup cop
Map o2 dump
Toxicfab tubular manifold
Tephra v7 SD / ecu boost

This is where we stopped:

keep in mind this is a pretty aggressive tune AFR wise, but its what he wanted.. he asked for over 400 and thats what he got.

Now onto the awesome part of this thread.. check out the custom fabrication work put into this evo. a lot of the work was fabricated by his friend from Titan & ETS & Toxic Fab.

Any idea how much the box dropped intake temps vs an open filter in the bay? I could fab up something like that if its worth the time...

it is substantial, but i dont have any data regarding it.. when you do that mod in the summer time though you will notice it big time.. when the radiator fan kicks on it heat soaks the engine bay very very badly.. with that box it blocks the air intake from sucking in that heat.. it is a big difference.. im gonna say about 15-20whp gains in dead summer heat.

Nice looking car! That would be something to see this one on e85.

Do you feel that the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and intake ducts are what is causing this car to produce such rediculous power?
