I really wish the stock bottom ends of the evos could handle more tq..Id love to run this turbo with E85 in my Evo.....But, its either build bottom end,or buy turbo...So, im gonna get the Red..Great numbers..Im sure that is a crazy fun car to drive..Justin

i wouldn't run it that rich.. instead id give it more timing since you guys have it timed like its a 93oct only car right now. to rich is just going to foul the plugs out sooner.

always cool seeing a older evo in good condition. engine bay looks nice. curve looks nice.

when you switch it to SD it should run way smoother as long as you take the time and tune it right.. id imagine theres a lot of good info on ecmlink forums so you should be fine.

STWHY.. ive done dozens of stock block cars on fp green hta's that run fine.. nothing to be worried about.

keep the tq within reason around 380-400ish. fp red is a good combo for a stock block though.. i had that setup before and it was fun and still responsive.

tom, the current setup is 850/325eth per cylinder so its about E33 I would guess. it is acting like its straight 93. I am not sure the IC I am using is all that efficient it may not be cooling enough. I am installing temp sensors this week to see where turbo out and upper IC temps are at. but it wont yet tell me how good the IC is because the IC sensor will be hit with the ethanol. the next fuel setup will be 780/510 eth so more like E46. but the injectors will be in the manifold so I will be able to see then how well IC works. hopefully then I should be able to lean out toward 12.0 or leaner that everyone uses .
