tweaking my HTAgreen 460/420 at 24psi

couple months ago dynoed car.

setup is hta green from evo x custom mounted to my small engine compartment
2.3 mahle pistons
fp2 cams
owner ported head
quiet custom 2 muffler exhaust
fuel is 880cc 93 with two 650cc injectors spraying ethanol at mirror duty
evo 8 maf
dsm v3 link
owner tuned

vitals
flat 21psi
4 degrees climbing to 11
10/1 A/F
intake temp 80
45lbs peak airflow

results

re-dynoed today.

added owner ported intake
20.4psi at 4500rpm tapers to 24psi at 6600rpm then flat to redline 7800
4 degrees climbing to 12
10/1 A/F
intake temp 99
47.5lbs peak airflow (was peaking 50.5 just two weeks ago 90 intake temp)

results

car is stupid fun. power, finesse and manners all rolled in one. virtually no sacrifices in drivabilty. simply drives like a new car does off showroom floor. make no mistake 460whp/400tq at 3800rpm yanks this 2800lbs around with ease.

final tweaks will be moving eth spray to manifold and speed density conversion. I think I will hit 500 with just 25psi. great turbo. thanks FP.

Thats my favorite stat to measure a street car by is when it makes 200whp, Usually tells the best story about the combo on the car.

Eh, not impressed. It doesnt hit hard looking at the graph, looks terribly laggy for a Green.

This Evo 3 is amazing! I got to ride in it when it only made 426hp. Once the front end lifted it felt like the front end started ice skating...insane, very nice man

LOL.... Is this a joke? It makes 400lbs/tq at 3700rpms. What graph are you looking at?

ignore svendiesel guys. he has sand in his clitty from me pointing out how fuggin laggy EF4 turbos are.
my green goes from 200tq-400tq in 500rpm in 99 degree heat.
heres a EF4 doing that same feat in 1500rpm. aint that some funny shiat? I was asked by moderators to stay out of EF4 threads. even though I brought plenty of data to support my claim the EF4 was the laggiest twin scroll turbo I have seen.
thanks for the laugh Sven. now GTFO and go back to your laggy turbo threads.

Very nice....would have been even better to see peak torque hold up there for a little bit longer. Still impressive.

sorry about that. I did ask for a pull to 7800. I only glanced at the hp/tq and was satisfied and told them thats all I needed. by the time I realized the pull stopped at 7000 the chains were already undone. it was a dyno day with multiple cars being done in rapid succession. tune is far from finished. I will update soon with a better graph than this.

The tune is far from finished. This car has always been picky about what a/f ratio it likes. For some reason, the car loves being rich. He has had the tune at 11.0-11.2 at one point, but the car had no get up, especially in 3rd. It lacked top end and spool was a lot slower. Timing is still really low as well.

I am trying to talk Jerry out of SD at this point in time. Hell, I think he should just leave the meth kit alone as well, but I know he want this dual rail setup on the car. I believe all this car really needs at this point is a polish job on the tune and fix the body/paint of the car and leave it the way it is. The car is just a freaking monster!!

it likes 10.8 best. making it leaner increases knock noise and just pulls timing. no point in finalizing tune till the four injector rail is on the car. car doesnt need SD for drivability. but if it frees up 15hp up top I want to try it. I wont hesitate to slap MAF right back on if it turns into problems. car is freaky good running just the way it is. its time to just enjoy it while my other cars receive some attention.
