TSCOMPTUNED: Evo 8 e85/93
TSCOMPTUNED: Evo 8 e85/93
Here's my graph's from my current tune completed by Tom at TSCOMP.
I must say Tom is a great guy, he has helped me with a lot, and def worked his magic on my car and I am extremely happy with where the car sits at the moment. It took a couple late nights to finish the tune, but I must say a big thanks to Tom for staying up and helping me get the tune completed as my work schedule varies so greatly, but he had no problem helping me out.
Torque is kept low at the moment just to be safe. I might decide to up it in the future, but I'm pretty happy with where the car is at now.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Mods are in my sig.

i really like how e85 woke the car up! thanks for sharing your results. we just finished this car at 3:30am my time lol
would have liked to extract more out of the 93, but the quality doesn't seem to good. it was very knock prone.

^Exactly, I tried different gas stations and still had no luck controlling the knock.
But it's all good, because I'm all about the e85 anyway, I rarely ever run 93.
And yes like Tom and I said it was a late night for both of us. Tuned until 2:30 my time CST, but it was well worth it now.

Brian, my friend. I know you are all smiles now. Awesome!
Tom is great without question.
I am surprised at the quality of 93-octane you have there in Killeen. I suffered the same thing and I am starting to think that there is a conspiracy as the so-called 91-octane here in southern Arizona was closer to 87-octane.
29PSI out of the stock turbo is surely fun.
Have you ever thought about speed density? It is a simple change and Tom could possibly safely squeeze more power out of the tune.
I see you pushing the stock IX turbo. Send me a PM if you want to do anything with the 20G turbo if you have not sold it.

Levar, yes def all smiles now with a safe and great quality tune that tom has provided.
Ya I always thought the gas here was good, but tuning showed me otherwise, it's pretty much crap gas in this area.
You know I have thought about speed density, at the moment I am currently reading about it and really weighing my options on switching, I've read many great things and it could be a possibility in the future.
And ya sorry the 20g sold about a week ago...

Until you get yourself a speed density intake pipe, simply unplug the MAP sensor from your current set up. This is how I was initially set up until I got my intake pipe.
Ya I already have the omni 4 bar, so I have what's needed and just using the fuel temp sensor as far as I've been reading is good for a speed density setup, so It's very possible in the future I might set this up.
