psi proformance bbk ix makes 478 whp

Wanted to share the results with everyone, will get dyno graph pic up here soon.
making 439 whp with 361 tq. on 93
and a whopping 478 whp and 396 tq. on e 85.

considering I was expecting close to 450 e85 on dyno jet... maybe a little more I'm incredibly pleased.

Steve at psi, also ironed out a couple little problems with the previous map, I was making 411 whp on 93 with 344 ft lbs at 31 lbs boost. now running 26 lbs with an extra 28 hp to play with.

I'm running s2's
straight pipes
bbk full turbo
maf delete
1600 cc injectors
340 pump
aps twin vent
and a hell of a tune from steve at psi proformance.

Thanks guys.
peace

How did the car only pick up ~40whp from switching to E85?

Same boost?

do you think it should have picked up more? i've seen very few stock bottom ends on bbks making that much power. even on dyno jet.

I suppose it's right in line then. Didn't notice you were on stock block! Enjoy the car, and I'll see you around cruisin!

Did you keep the TQ down since you are on stock block? or was that all it had?

it definitely feels like there is more to be had... although i will say i pushed steve to get it done that night... we didn't leave till close to 11. and a 14 hour day for him... he said it would be better if I waited till the next day, but I had work obligations preventing me from leaving the car the extra day. that said, the power even in the ridiculous heat we've been having of late... zo6's m5's and boss mustangs fell at the wheels of the evilution

plus it feels incredibly safe... cruising around back roads in 4th and 5th and maintaining vacuum at 85 mph highway speeds. i'll likely see more miles per tank on e85 than on 93. if I can stop mashing the dummy pedal that is.

Congrats looks like a find ride. I will be happy if I can make what you got on 93 with my e85 tune.

yeah, unbelievably satisfied with the guys at psi.

steve is the man, and the go to guy for all of my future endeavors.

I'm really liking the bbk, but in the pursuit of more power a turbo and internal upgrade will likely be the next step. although i should be safe with a bigger turbo on stock bottom but we'll see how things pan out.
psyched to see the turbo'd 430 too.
who straps a snail on a ferrari? should be some exciting stuff.

yo steve... glad you chimed in... probably heading over there fri... i'll pick up that stuff and wanted introduce my buddy with the near stock 8 to you.
you rocked this whip out and I can't even tell you the night and day difference between now and what it was doing before, it's like a totally different car now, I'll sing your praises homezilla this mother funker was doing pulls into the wee hours of the night to get me outta there so i could make some bread to sustain this horsepower habit I caught.

also, if you remember what boost am i running on e85... I think i need a new boost gauge this thing only goes to 2.0 bar

glad to bring the boost down on 93 and in a couple weeks will fill her up with some pump to feel that too.
my exhaust smells like my boy mikey mumbles.
