I would say your numbers r a bit low, but on 91 back in the day in a 103 f dyno room I put down similar numbers with hks 272 cams, I did 287 hp 285 tq on a dynojet. Its the gas mostly, but like someone posted how does it drive......takin a car to the ragged edge just for the sake of a bit more hp, not smart....if you feel its down one thing i put in my car where I notice a difference is the Lucas fuel stabilizer......gives our watered down additive gas a boost.. but to make more hp get rid of the mbc, switch to 3port youll get higher spikes in colder weather. Good luck.

those are some substantial mod changes/fixes to go right ahead and blame the tuner. but to each their own I guess.

This goes straight back to what vinny said. Bring in a broken car, hate the numbers, fix the car then change tuners and all of a sudden its the previous tuners fault.

a.) Nothing you just said is valuable to me.
b.) If I fixed the car I wouldn't be talking to you right now.
c.) I said the previous tuner was ****ty because there were massive, unexplainable gaps in the tune.
d.) Please bring your attitude somewhere else. There is no room for it on my thread. Thank you.

I really would have liked to see the difference on the initial VIII turbo setup w/ a 3-port and an upgraded WGA

Ok so here's what I did since my OP.

- Compression Test 125/125/130/140 (near %10 difference but nothing to be worried about I think)
- ABSOLUTELY NO BOOST LEAKS

- Swapped out stock turbo for a fp hta 71(white)
- Megan 02 housing
- Turbosmart 22 psi WGA
- Treadstone 3.5" Intercooler
- fftec EBCS
- Switched Tuner (sean @ fftec)

I saw a 50 whp gain (mustang dyno) from the above (still on CA pump 91).

So now I sit at 315/305 on a mustang dyno. Still (I feel) about 30-40 whp under where I should be at.

HERE'S WHAT I THINK MY PROBLEM IS, TELL ME IF I'M FAR OFF:

Problem For The First Time Around (OP):
- I believe what was wrong the first time around was a S&*TTY TUNER. He had absolutely no idea what he was talking about and his tuned sucked *****.

Current Problems:

- Injen LICP connects like crap to my intercooler. Almost impossible to explain, but basically the elbow coupler reducer and LICP bends to create a small scoop internally. The Injen LICP sucks to begin with I am figuring out, and this internal scoop that is restricting flow isn't helping any.
(8-10whp loss)

- ****ty California 91 gas? I am going in to get tuned for E85 on Friday, I will post results when I have them.

- Possibly losing power due to semi low compression in cylinders 1 and 2? (125/125/130/140)
(10-20 whp loss)

- Still on stock exhaust manifold.
(10 whp loss)

So all said, if I switch these parts I think I will be right around where I should be.

Please let me know if you agree or disagree with my diagnosis and more importantly WHY. Thanks.

Lol at the other guys comment.

I only really read the post i quoted. Keep in mind that this is a mustang dyno so the readings will apear alot lower (more accurate).

My car was tuned on a mustang dyno and showed 275WHP. Friends evo's that had "340whp" from a different place (dynojet) users had no pull on me. So keep that in mind.

Also talking about your licp I would chack the ETS LP2
That is the pipe I have. It fits pretty much like stock and had a noticble gain. (also looks pretty)
