Have you considered a smaller turbo or a retune? You have extremely low power and super slow times. I wouldn't expect to be running very fast in the 1/4mi with that car as it sits

You posted in the wrong section. This needs to go into the Drag Racing forums.

x2 depending on your boost levels you should be making at least another 50 whp and your trap speed should be up at the very least another 8mph...thats a huge turbo a 30r would run much better

Stock block with no cams with a big turbo will net crappy.... sorry to be so blunt. Add some more bolt ons an build your block..just saying! Your times will drop dramatically.

Yes low on power, usually see 600+ on that turbo. My e85 horsepower numbers are almost the same as yours and makes much more torque than your car with the 6262. Shoot, even my pump gas torque numbers are higher. I feel as though you have the wrong turbo selection for your setup since typically that turbo would belong on a built motor and more boost.

I trapped 12.7 @ 109 with 305awhp lol. Get some seat time and go back and also unless you are taking a nap between shifts that trap does not match the whp you should be 117+. How long has it been since a tune? Could be having leaks and other problems. But the 2.5 60' has got to go!

That's good for you! But if you have any idea about cars and hp and track times you'll know 112mph with A 2.5 60ft would put the car in 114-117 with A 60ft like a 1.7... Learn what your talking about before you talk

were those hp/tq numbers from dynotech? if so its a low reading mustang so it may be about right for a stock motor with that turbo. yea the 60' time really needs improvement, did you bog or spin? was this at epping? last time I went there i was spinning 3 gears

Hey guys yes the car was tuned by us. We are limited on a few things with it. One it being a MR and still having the 6spd. Also it is on a single Walbro 255. We wanted to keep this as sae sa possible. Even at 400whp with a decent 60ft it will be a mid 11sec car as it sits. Like it has been discovered needs seat time and learn how to launch a AWD car.

400-430whp on our mustang dyno normally nets between 118-121mph in the 1/4 mile. Something is definitely holding back the power. His car was tuned conservatively on the 6262 for now on the stock block on pump gas with torque limited. A solid mid/low 11 second pass is possible on that power, even on the 6-speed transmission it currently has. It may have a boost leak or something else holding the power back. What RPM were you shifting at and did you shift into 5th gear?
