EFR comparison 8374 vs 7670

Geoff's pulls are the Blue ones, mine are in Red.
The big differences between Geoff's and my car is mine is a 2.2L and his is a 2.0L... and I have s3 cams and MIVEC... I believe Geoff has s2's?

Nice comparison, can you comment on your previous FP Red 540 whp setup vs you´re current setup.

If you look in the "break in EFR7670" dyno thread I made I overlay the Red with teh 7670.

I think this is waaaay better. And I haven't turned it up to 40psi like I did with the Red just 25psi on the EFR

What boost are you planning to run the EFR on when its all settled in? How is the transient response?

Transient is awesome better than the stock 9 Better than my BB HKS7460... better than both of those by a good margin. And makes a ton more power.

Planning on running 40psi peak....and as much as I can past 5500RPM.

Wow tq at 3500 vs Geoffs is nuts. Both set ups are still awesome none the less.

Sick.

So are these turbos readily available now??

Very very helpful, thanks for posting this. These are the exact 2 turbos I would love to see tested back to back.

Nice numbers. I am definitely going with one of these turbos. Can't wait to see your high boost numbers.

are you using the top mount internal wastegate manifold like geoff?

Mine is a top mount that I made for myself. Twin external MVS gates.

Geoff's has shorter runners (better)
Merge collector (same as mine...but a little shorter length/higher angle)
and he uses smaller diameter runners.

So Geoff's manifold will have better boost threshold than mine.

as far as commercially available manifolds for these turbos.. I REALLY like Geoff's Full-Race top mount setup he made for his own car for the IWG turbos. great manifold
