I just tuned this evo 8 for a friend.

mods:

TBE
750cc
walbro
evo ix turbo
ebay exhaust mani
intake
mbc

24 psi to 22psi 93oct.

That spools extremely late, boost leak or maybe the turbo is on its way out?
Also that is pretty wavy with a smoothing of 2.

+1. I just tuned a car for a buddy with similar mods and he was crossing 300tq right before 3,000RPM...

What kind of timing and AFRs are you running on spool?

300trq before 3000rpm? please post the VD of that chart. This is also a evo 8 with 9 turbo, and more mods. Far off 300trq before 3000rpm, and Mellon is one of the best with stock ecu.

I have a had charts of my car in the past doing 300tq by 3200. But I rarely drive the car below 3000rpm.

My bad, I hit 3 instead of 4. I meant 4000rpm.

that's an extremely old chart lol, hence the old business name, not a good representative and on top of that not every car comes here in top form if we didn't do the build. This was a well prepared customer car below: This is a 3rd gear pull, if the pull was done in 4th it would spool up earlier rpm probably.

Still don't believe you can get 300trq at 3000 or 3200 rpm on a 2.0 stock block evo 8 with evo ix turbo 93 oct, 3rd gear. But please prove me otherwise.
Would you mind posting that VD? was that on a flat road?

Not on an Evo 8, because I drive a 9. I'm not going to argue about it because I know what it did previously. Starting RPM has a lot to do with it such as starting at 2500 vs 3000 like I always do my logs. I don't have the logs because I delete them once I review and make sure things are ok. Mellon posted a graph above showing a pull starting from 3000 and passing 300tq by 3500. Yes it was on a flat road, I have no to reason to lie to myself when doing my logs.

mivec would make a pretty decent difference in spool. This car doesnt have it so that is probably where the discrepancy is coming from with evo8426.

My 9 with bolt ons and 91 doesn't hit 300 tq till 4k. Not saying it cant be done. I believe him. I wouldn't want my car to have 300 tqs at 3000. Not easy on the engine.
