Why is power so low??

This car was tuned and we couldnt get anymore power out of it. Does anyone have any ideas on why the power isnt there. Boost spikes to 30 and falls to about 12 at redline. Here is a dyno sheet from VD. The mods to the car are in my sign.

Because it is a stock turbo on a 4g64. The little turbo can only flow so much air. I would be more concerned about the car leaning out so much above 6000rpm.

i found a better graph. i dont have the stock ecu anymore so i just had to go through my logs to get the graphs. This one is alittle better.

Is this on 93? If so, numbers are right where they should be IMO.

No thats E85. 91 it made just under 400. what doesnt make sense is that when we switched to e85 we didnt gain much power.

It looks like spool is a bit slow too for a 2.4L and a stock turbo. Boost leak tested?

Edit: I have nearly the same exact setup, but I'm not tuned yet.

yes boost is late also with more boost it will come later, how are you controlling the boost ?
check the wastegate tension and try to run ecu based ebc to hold it better at redline, shorter boost lines as you can,and that number is correct with this turbo specially if you are making just under 400 with 91 oct, ported stocker too..what power are you expecting ?

Its a stock turbo, pushing 30psi, and on a 4g64. It cant do too much more.
Your power curve just hits that spot and flat lines. Probly cuz youre at max lb/min on stocker.

At max load its at 1* when we went to 2* power went down. Then it goes up to 18 by redline. the wastegate tension is set correctly. the way fp tells u to set it. Its EBC and the lines are about a foot long. im seeing other ppl making 450+ on a stock turbo so im wondering whats different on there setup from mine. there with stock motors and stock intake manifolds. Is the magnus, head, and cams just to big for this turbo?

FPs way of setting the tension on the WGA is not the correct way if you wanna hold as much boost as possible. If you wanna hold as much boost as possible, you have to tighten the WGA all the way and strong man it on.

And even with the 25psi WGA cranked all the way down, me and others only got about 22-23 base pressure. To actually get 25, you have to cut a couple threads off.

And yes, your whole setup is too big for that turbo.

well the way FP tells u to do it maxes it out for me. Im at 12psi at redline why is there some ppl holding 20 at redline. I set it so the wastegate never opens and it still only hold like 13 at redline why is it dieing so much? Why cant i hold boost? Again the wastegate wont open. i can tell bc i have a wastegate dump.

Turbo is maxed out. Basically upping the boost will just create more heat at this point.

You cant hold more boost because your turbo is too small for your setup. The 2.1 with a stg 3 head and big cams has a high VE and is outflowing the turbo.
