good to hear. I'm about to get a 6262 kit and I want to stay on 93 octane. 450-500 is what I want on 93

very nice. Is it safe to say that if he were to switch to E85 he could keep the injectors and just use a double pumper or walbro 400 and make good power?

I would go with the double pumper, but yes he should be able to do 600 on the stock block safely!

I have shifted my 6 speed hard with around 500hp a bunch of times. Its all about how smooth you are, maintenance, and how youre driving. If your on the freeway shifting hard and in and out of gears in 10-12 seconds you wont see near as many issues as you would sitting in a gear say 4th down the back of a track.

I am keeping the 6spd in my car just to see how far it will go. I think there is a lot of unfair negativity around the 6spd.

People need to understand that WHP does not harm an engine. You could have 1000WHP and be fine. It's the torque that becomes and issue. If you somehow magically made 1000WHP and 400 FP's of torque the engine and tranny would hold it fine.

The 6 speed also is not as weak as everyone thinks it is, but it isn't the best gearing for a 1/4 mile.

Impressive powerband
Seem to spool very very early for a 6266 setup
