Josh you need to track down a 1.15 T4 for your car.
Interesting data, the 3794 may have been on the wrong side of the choke line as well at 55psi because it didnt hold it for very long. It definitely seemed happier at 52psi.

I think FP sells them for $300 o something. Not to thread hijack but didn't I read somewhere that you posted that spool on a TS won't be affected on the size of the a/r.

Thats what I had been wondering as well, makes it look to me like the HTA3794 might be better flowing at "lower" PRs, possibly being better suited to bigger engines which can flow flow more air at less boost such as Skylines/Supras. I'd love to see a 3794R on a 2JZGTE at 30-40psi....

thanks for taking the time to do the test, and for doing it well at that.
Curious if you have any personal opinions on transient response in general. The PTE obviously looks less laggy, but I'd like to hear how that translates into transient, or if it doesn't.
awesome stuff.

Curious on the 55psi dyno #'s too. I wouldn't have even caught the 100ish whp difference between the Facebook post and this test if it hadn't been mentioned. I'm just curious which was the actual result.
Great test BTW, been looking forward to this release since you guys mentioned it on your FB page Very well done.
Could you compare the air temp readings for each turbo at each boost level? It may help to show how steeply the turbos Efficency drops as you exceed certain levels.

I'm pretty obsessive about #s at the best of times, and the >1000whp on a T3 turbo definitely got me all excited so I was going to notice if something changed . Another thing that got my attention is in the test it states he used E70, whereas going from previous posts about racing and tuning as either E85 (using E98 + C16 to custom blend) or straight E98 as a fuel - can't help but wonder what kind of difference that results in.

It appears that the difference between the two identical results is about the same percentage. Might just mean the dyno shop migh have calibrated their mustang dyno to be closer to dynojet results but Boostin had their results show the standard mustang dyno's parameters? Just a guess.

Thanks for sharing the comparison of these turbos! These turbos are my first choice but the PTE is cheaper, that's the reason why I only reason I got it if the price were the same I would have grab the 3794. lol
I wonder how much power/spool difference on twin scroll?

Great comparison between these two turbos. Just curious why you didn't include this particular dyno sheet? Also wondering why the numbers on this sheet at 55lbs are different than the one you posted? The time on this sheet and the other one are identical, so why is there a 100hp difference?
