Maybe a very conservative tune?

How many pounds of boost?

To give you a frame of reference for our dyno...

FP Black on our dyno made 425hp on a 2.3 stroker/93oct. On e85 it made 515hp on our dyno and went to the track that afternoon and ran a 10.56@137mph.

FP Reds typically make between 360 - 380 on stock blocks.

This car is sitting exactly where we expected it to be, its making the power it should be making, it was tuned to make a lot of low end torque which is exactly what the customer wanted, and I'd guarantee any track times would sit right in line with where they are suppose to.

Looks right to me for a mustang.
People just don't understand... a dyno is used for a tuning tool in a safe controlled environment. Its a heartbreak dyno but hell tweak the dyno and you can make the ***** read 1000hp if you wanted.

So on a dynojet this car would be making about 480 whp on 93, and roughly 570-590 on E85, no?

Almost 400wtq by 4500, not bad at all. Will be a fun car around town!

Alot of us that have Mustang dynos, and use them correctly with the simulated inertia selected, don't post alot of dyno numbers for that reason. The **** storm of "those numbers are low" or "I'd be pissed if i spent that money, dog" etc. isn't something I entertain. We do like it when customers, or our sponsored cars, go out and run great times at the track vs. their "dyno numbers".

Our Mustang rep input an "EST DJ HP and EST DJ TQ" option in our dyno software when we set it up. On pump it reads 403hp and 431tq for estimated DJ HP/TQ. To me that doesn't mean much as its just a number. If Justin would like to put it on a Dynojet when he picks the car up and takes it back to NJ, that would be up to him.

Sorry for making a quick post without giving the back story... I was planning on going back on later and editing this, but I see the Internet and forums have a way of blowing up all of a sudden.

I have rarely tracked this car, and once I get it back I could see myself maybe making a couple more passes, but generally speaking this is a street car. My goal was to have a good time driving to work and back and forth doing general bs. All this is explained here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...-fp-green.html

When I came to the guys at Spec Ops I explained this, and how fast spool, quick torque, and power below 6500rpm was the goal... Everything else was just a bonus. So, though they suggested going bigger on the turbo, I stuck with the green in order to keep the spool as quick as possible.

As a guy who works with numbers all day the one thing I can definitively tell you is that they don't mean sh*t. You get numbers from 10 different sources and have 10 different answers. Like most measurement, hp and tq are good for giving a relative/directional sense of where you are, but they are by no means perfect. It comes down to a million different variables, one of the most important/easy to manipulate is the dyno which is used to capture the numbers. Would it have been great if the Dyno chart read 600hp? Sure! But, the *** dyno don't lie... Can't wait till Friday when I go to pick this thing up! I've got faith that Matt and the boys delivered on my goals... Stay tuned.

The best pull actually made 400whp/425+wtq i believe. This however was a little too much on the aggressive side for a daily driver so Jason pulled a bit of timing out so it would make for a safer tune. The numbers we posted were its final, no knock, AFR somewhat aggressive but leaving some room for safety and timing the same. You know a car is going to be fun on the street when its fun on the dyno

The power level seems good and comparable to my 2.3L and dinky HKS 7460R turbo. Its going to be a blast to drive, as I've found out on my own car.
