EF2 EVO 8 + TSCOMPUSA = 400hp Daily Driver

After several years of turning the wrench and installing parts on my car, it has finally hit the 400hp Virtual Dyno mark. Huge thanks to Tom @ TSCOMPTUNED for bringing out the best in my Evo. I’ve been working with Tom since Sep of 12’ and I have nothing but good things to say about his ability and attention to detail. I fully recommend him for your email tune needs. Boost: 29 tapering to 25 at redline. Ambient temp was 36F. Fuel: 93 octane+50/50 meth injection. Other Mods are in sig. Thanks for viewing.

Thanks for sharing Neal! I think i'm gonna shoot over one last rom edit just to richen that lean bump at 4500RPM just a hair for you.

Basically the 93 + meth was like E85, with slightly less cooling properties, so the meth was definitely really kicking *** with this tune.

It should be noted that you live at 1200ft elevation and on the stock turbo the car with that same mod list almost could not go more then 340WHP.

here is a before & after changing from the stock turbo to the ef2 & 1100cc FIC with more boost:

With better cams i think you're looking at 440whp. the BC cams are really bad.

Also i could make the torque equal to the HP, but we both agreed not to do so, its a daily driver and must remain reliable.

I had no other option than to spike boost also to hold more uptop, since he only has a mbc.

No prob when the meth starts to kick in. I know I have my meth when I ran it coming on at about 12 or so psi to redline. Tom correct me if I am wrong but that's what it looks like.

i think its because there was a lot more preload on the wastegate now. the ef2 has that turbosmart wastegate + we turned the boost up way more so the mbc assisted in the quicker spool also.

of course a bigger turbo then stock isn't going to spool quicker though, so don't take it as that kind of genuine comparison. this is just the comparison for this car only based on the circumstances of both runs in different conditions.

Accurate Guess?

Anyone know what a 05 evo GSR with upper intercooler piping running AMSoil through engine and drivetrain should have at the wheels at 15psi and at 5k altitude? I want to run it on the dyno but I would like a more educated guess when people ask how much power I have.
thnx

I really hate people like you who come into threads with nothing to say at all about anything and want people to guess what your hp is gonna be. Why don't you get what you want and take it to a dyno. Given what you ask your car isn't gonan make anything more then stock with what you just said.

Cool man. I love haters. By the way, Thank you for picking up my own words and then handing them back to me. Shows you have not much more to offer to this site than someone who was born yesterday. Hope you respond to this because it will show your inferiority.

You need to search bud, there's a whole thread (it's stickied too) dedicated to guessing power outcomes. That's why when you post in some guys thread saying nothing about his result but asking for power estimates of your own setup, people tend to get mad.

Here: how much power will my setup make thread

With some weight loss I would hope 119 to say 125? Either way I am looking forward to seeing what it does. Good luck
