fp red all the way its the happy medium between power and boost lag. you'd be able to boost more on the red and make more power the green has lots of limitations. if you have e85 then you can run a dual map and make some big power plus spool faster. i ran 342whp 91 oct and 432whp e85 all on the stock turbo

WORKS 269 Power Cams
HKS Downpipe
Borla Cat Back Exhaust
Halman Manual Boost Controller
Mitsubishi JDM MR Diverter Valve
Walbro Fuel Pump 255
ACT Heavy Duty Clutch
Stock Intercooler/piping
Stock O2
24PSI

What should this setup make?

I'm about to get my car tuned at FFTEC on a dual 91/E85 map. Also going to install FIC 1050cc's and a MIL SPEC 100 cell HFC and FFTEC Boost Solenoid.

How much should I be making when I've had the tune/injectors/cat done? E85 vs 91 Oct? I'd like to be close to 400hp. That'd be great for now. Any recommended items I should do, while I'm doing the other things too would be awesome to hear about.

Thanks in advance
Jamie
On 91 oct. on FFTEC's dyno (still a mustang dyno??) at your specified target boost level, 24psi, i think youd probably be around 330-340 whp.

e85 on the other hand....... Will for sure get you close or possibly above your 400whp goal. But at more boost, which is wold be safe on e85.. An intercooler upgrade would be beneficial at that point as well.

Probably 370/380 On a dynojet. Your turbo is really holding you back.

Currently at 339whp/320 ft-lb@25psi with 91 octane on a dynojet with the following parts:
  • BBK Full
  • HKS 272 Mivec cams
  • Perrin Intake
  • Perrin 3port Boost Control Sol
  • PTE 780cc Injectors
  • Walbro 255

Injector duty cycle is 80% at its highest. Peak timing is 8* or 9* from my last tune with 1-3 counts of knock at most. I will be installing the following soon:
  • ETS 4" + Short Route Titanium Intercooler piping
  • Tial QR
  • ToxicFab v3 Stock Replacement Manifold (not coated)
  • Tomei Expreme Ti Cat-back
  • MAP o2 Eliminator (recirculated I.E. divorced) + DEI Titanium Heat wrap
  • STM resonated test pipe
  • Aquamist HFS-4 Meth Kit (will be spraying 100% meth)

I will be looking to go no further than 26psi for now until I do head studs. My guess is 400-425 whp/380-400 ft-lb range

I've read on the forum that people have gotten away with figures of 30+ psi on stock studs. They say it's dependent on how good the tune is. Suffice to say your tune better been knock free.

I have run as much as 36psi when my car was stock motor (and headstuds) on E85, we ran 38psi on Jakes, and I made 574 on pumpgas on stock headstuds.
