HX35 (old) vs FP3052 (new)

6bolt Stock block
stock intake manifold
Kelford 272
93 Octane fuel

It always came to my mind that the Holset spooled fast , so I gambled and went for it. Below are the results of both the turbo's , 6months apart with the engine and head.

HX35 specifications

56mm 6blade billet - rare volvo badged
FP31 turbine housing

Dynochart on Dyno Dynamics at 23psi:

So I swapped in the Fp3052 to see what outcomes does it bring
This dyno was run on the same location at 21psi , i have overlapped the old figures in blue lines. I estimate it to be in the 4xxwhp on dynojet figures

The dyno was stopped at 6.5krpm as the headgasket gave way, but from what I see, there are HUGE gains of torque and hp in the low and mid range.

yes both of these setups look lazy...although there is great improvement over the holset, my buddies try and sel me on holset builds all the time and for the price they really do a great job but i think your setup is not efficient. it looks as if you have too big of a hotside on your turbo because it spools late in the powerband no power under the curve, but then at top end 7k plus the power starts to fall off so i am confused?

you must be running that 6 bolt head too because the power is nice but it makes little torque

You can't even over lay those graphs. The axis aren't right. Terrible comparision.
