Evo8 stock block 5858 92oct 530whp
Mods:
ETS 5858 vband kit. 0.82 AR
ETS 4" cooler with 2.5 piping
ETS intake kit with perrin filter
greedy Ti catback + 3" test pipe
GSC s2 cams
Grimspeed
Walbro 255
RC1000cc
arp headstuds
stock head/block
Tepha V7
This was done on our local pump which is about 92oct. Sorry no boost log. It was set at 25 psi in the mid range and creeped up to 29psi from 6-8krpm. Timing was set conservative during spool-up to manage tq and keep the stock motor happy. I'm very pleased with the 5858. its a very potent turbo. Perhaps in the future I will push it a bit harder when the motor is built.

id go on our local dynojet to back up this chart soon. im amazed at the power output. I was aiming for 450-475.

OP, looks like you could push the car a lot more down low since these bigger turbos do take a while to spool up compared to stock turbo or something along the lines of a Green. I have been waiting quite some time to see someone post up this turbo.

^I agree. The wg is 16psi. I could use a stiffer spring setup, or do a hybrid boost to bring the turbo on faster. There is also room to push more timing on spool up. but I dont know how much more of an improvement you would see. ( keep in mind this is a non mivec and a 0.82 ar)
My main focus was how the car responded thru the gears as this type of powerband suits my driving style. Also, this is a 6sp.... so a gentle tq profile is always welcomed.
