Forced Performance Super99 Dyno Results

The Super99 delivered excellent results on the Black Mamba. The Mamba's Setup consists of:

- JMS Built Mivec 2.0
- JMS Built Head with GSC S3 Cams
- Magnus V5 IM
- JMS T3 Forward Facing turbo Kit
- JMS Full 4" Aluminum Exhaust
- Sparktech CDI Sequential COP Ignition System
- Proefi 128 EMS Installed/Tuned by JMS
- FIC 2150's with JMS Fuel System
- QM 8-Leg Clutch
- JMS Built Trans with PPG Dogbox Gearset
- Dyno graph shows results on Pump E85 and 49psi of boost.
- Dyno notes - Pulls were done in 3rd Gear, 18" Volk RE-30's used, Temp was 67 degrees and 66% humidity in the dyno room.

I'll post a track video later on in the Drag Racing section of Friday's new PR pass for the Mamba.

That power band is insane! It's not as laggy as I would have thought. Is it all in at 49 psi?

Thankyou for posting your results, but is it just me or does this turbos results looks very similar to 6766 results on similar mods (s3, v5, built 2.0)...................

Not too much laggier, but much more power - check out Red Demon's 6766 vs HTA3794 when Super94 test... the HTA3794 made more at each boost level than the 6766, then the Super94 went and smashed both out of the park.

Regarding the spool the 6766 kicked the 3794s *** HANDS DOWN at every boost level. The HTA 3794 did however on average make around 50whp more up top at every boost level EXCEPT 55psi where they were dead EVEN. I have not seen the Super 94 results over the 3794, but I am guessing its spooled slightly later and made slightly more power?

The trend is looking like the Super Turbo series is making more and more power the bigger the wheels get obviously but the spool is sacrificing...now from a drag racing standpoint I know racers will want the most power.

I have the 6466 because its going on a street/drag car, I also went with a twinscroll setup to even better the spool I guess I want my cake and be able to eat it to. We all know the 6466 makes power similar to the 6766 but spools like the 6266. In my heart I feel like its the true winner, the Super 99 is doing work I cant deny that especially for the t3 guys.

By kicking ***, you mean 200rpm roughly... you can't call losing out by only 200rpm kicking ***, then say the Super99 is pretty much the same as the PT6766 when the Super99 has made over 70whp more than a 6766 can using nearly 10psi less boost (at which point it didn't max out, so much as stopped there to complete tuning on the track), and doesn't have the old 65mm T-series turbine wheel which was clearly what stopped the 3794 from keeping its massive power lead over the 6766 at the highest boost levels (though the 6766 never caught up, just closed the gap).

I am sure the mass exodus of guys who have run Precision 6766 and 6466 turbos and upgraded to the Super99 wouldn't be doing so if they thought they were basically the same, blatent troll pretty obvious though.

This dyno pull can't even be compared to the pulls made in that comparison done between the 6766, fp3794 and then later the Super94.

This dyno is a Dynojet and those others were tested on a Mustang dyno. This is significant when trying to compare results. Also, this car was pulled in third gear rather than fourth. Again, will produce different numbers. Third gear pulls usually produce lower numbers than a pull in fourth gear. These numbers would be lower on a Mustang dyno by 10-13%. But then, it was pulled in 3rd gear, so maybe % is lower... Who knows?.......

My gut tells me that the Super94 is the best of the bunch out of these options. The turbine wheel for the Super94 and Super99 are identical. The compressor on the Super99 is larger and I think outflows the turbine significantly. The compressor and turbine seem to be matched perfectly in the Super94, IMO.
