Yessir she held up well. Been making 400-500wtq for a long time. 83k miles now and the synchros finally started going once I started going to track days. Just too much heat. Then again not many 5 speed people can make it this long without killing some
Synchros.

It is easier to dial in the fuel and timing maps depending on the method used in the tune, my friend.

Break...

Do you have any head work done?

Break...

Peak torque before 4,000 RPM and over 500wtq is fun no matter what day of the week it is.

I love the power band that 2.3L+a green will have. Nice numbers!

GSC S2 cams. Super tech dual vlave springs/retainers.
Kiggly hla. That's it. No porting or valves

I love my build 2.3l FP BB Green. On the way to the park today my wife says "I kinda like like that whistling noise it makes " The turbo is so loud and the torque is wicked. (In this same ride she tells me she had a dream about being able to drive my car - she doesn't know how to drive a stick <INSERT INAPPROPRIATE JOKE HERE> - and said she did well in her dreams. Thinking we'll keep it by way . But I digress - 2.3l FP Green FTW!

Whooaa, is this true? If I send FP my current good condition evo 9 turbo, and want it to be a JB HTA green, THIS is all it would cost?

i'm with you... i beat the **** out of my 6spd... i swapped it only because i was planning to hit 600+ and wanted safety... after really looking into it and after a couple trans rebuilds i am 90% certain my car would have zero issues running a six...

i bought the MR in 06 specifically because i wanted the 6th gear and hated the high rev on the highway of the 5spd...

dumped a couple thousand into my 5spd trans now making it as nice as the 6spd was from the factory... and on several occasions i've considered swapping back...

5Speed... if you want i have a SHOOOOORTTT throw shifter for the 6spd... it wont fit under the console so its strictly track use only... but the 3/4 throw is 2.5in...

Grimmspeed 3 port. Pretty conservative boost. Spiking 25 and tapering quick.
