Stock block/ head with new fp red stainless housing

I haven't see any results on here of the new housing so when I finally got mine I was nervous but after getting my car back today the only way I could be more happy is by having a built motor to see what this turbo can really do.
Mod list: fp red
Spark tech non cdi coil set
Tial waste gate
Full tbe
Ets fmic
Ported stock manifold
S1 cams
1120cc injectors
Wally fuel pump
Stock block
Stock head
E85

Keep in mind this is mustang dyno numbers and I have a lot left on the table I just don't have the motor to run it like I want to

Here it is on 27 psi

Here is what it's running now on the street with a layover of how it compares to the ix turbo

Looks like you only lost ~300rpm of spool. Is that your driving impressions? Very nice numbers!

The spool is actually pretty good I was surprised. I was going to do a 2.3 build but the spool is good so I'm going to go with a 2.0

I just completed a 4G64 2.2 with a DBB Red, holy *****. These things are fun: 549/505 on E85.

What RPM did you start the Pull at: although the spool is similar to OEM E9 turbo, just making sure I understand, since your peek torque etc is way out in the rpm range.

Very interested in this as well.

How is the car on the street, DD at 2000-3000rpm range: how much boost does it make at 2500rpm in 4th or 5th on full throttle and how much at 3000rpm?
Just to understand...
Wonder if its responsive in DD situations, that you don't need to rev it out to 4000rpm to move with authority.

Thanks

well its doing exactly what FP designed it to do alpinaturbo. the single scroll SS housing will make a good bit more up top but low end it will hurt, but these are very little losses for nice top end so i think that's a success for FP.

Single walbro 255 also. car doesn't have the fuel system to support the 27psi run that's why he didn't give you it back with that pressure vito93.

I think the single scroll housing is a good option for stock block owners. it is safer in the regard it delays the torque curve and helps top end.

The pulls started a 3300ish. As far as dd I really enjoy the way it's set up. I'm not looking for full boost at 3000 rpm. If you want a turbo to make huge numbers at 4k it's not the turbo for you. As far as the tune goes the only reason for the 27psi run was to show me the difference between 27psi on stock turbo vs the same on the red. Archie at psi made my downpipe

Did you manage to do a run with the red ss on pump fuel? I'm planning on running the same turbo with my 2.3 on NZ 98RON which is roughly US 93-94RON

not worth it. turbo leaked oil like crazy after about 7 to 8 months. I ended up selling the turbo because all it did was cause problems
