FYI S2 cams with an intake manifold would give you about 50 WHP gain on pump gas at 26psi. Well over 500 WHP at 29psi.

nice power and torque curves. i run a small cam (Greddy Easycam) and the car is seriously alive out of the corners. i don't think i'd trade them for anything larger. i have beat up some pretty expensive cars. a matched setup is awesome. yeah.. you can make more peak power, but who drives around at 7k RPM all day?

Very nice! Any plans for the beast? Track or drag strip?

Interesting...

I need to do more research on this FP Red but I wonder if 29 psi is out of its efficiency range? I'm guessing not an issue?

Thanks for the input!

Thank you. Your setup sounds fun! I'm of the same mindset right now. I don't want to make a ton of power up top. I want a lot of response down low. Are you using the stock turbo?

Thanks man, just planning to set it up for auto x. Maybe one of these days, I'll head to the track. Not really into drag racing though.

I have an FP Red, ran 32psi stock block, now turned it down to 29 psi. *Knock on wood*

Nice! Any particular reason why you turned it down?

Thanks for the input.

MAP ef2.5
25psi on pump gas, 30psi on e85, in case you're wondering.

I just spent some time looking at the MAP ef series turbos. They seem like a good option for providing decent top end and some low end grunt. I'm going to keep them in mind if I decide to swap turbos for something more punishing around an autox course. Thanks for the info.

No problem. The numbers it made are in my Sig. Full boost approx 300rpm more than stock, at the most. I'd have to check logs. Stock long block and my pump gas is 91.
It's very responsive...I was able to beat a guy in a 458 around an extended autox course. I really like it.
Oh, and rebuilds are only $400.
