this is your problem. I have yet to see a stocker hold more that 27-29 psi.

If you need a better BOV let me know.. I have a few laying around. Cobb and also forge

Turn your stock Bov upside down and it will hold. At least you can test it this way.

I have a new IX bov and it holds 1.8 bar (26 psi) and starts a little leaking after that. If you turn it upside down, then it will hold much more (40 psi or so).

Please help me understand this.. I am willing to try anything at this point.
I assume it means install it backwards? as the intercooler pipe end goes to the intake and the intake to the intercooler? This wouldnt cause any surging or issues?

Thanks

This is not the fix. This is just to see if the BOV is the culprit in the picture. I dont think anybody would advise actually running the BOV backwards. it would cause surge.

Yes, that's true. Install it backwards and it shouldn't leak. There will be drivability problems if you leave it backwards.

..but if your bov is broken (stuck piston etc), turning it backwards will not help.

Since you've got built motor/new turbo just go ahead and buy a tial and never worry about the bov again.
