My Exedy twin is getting tired and starting to experience lock outs occasionally as well. I am curious though, how much boost do you launch with? And what tires are u on? I am on 255’s Hancook ventus evo all season, and my best 60’ is 1.73 at 20 psi tire pressure, ~6 psi launch boost @ 6750rpm. I hope we both dip into the mid 10’s soon…lol Cheers!
Yea a lot of the parts are probably interchangeable and don't make that much of a difference. I had an hta86 but sold it with my old setup.
I don't know about boost in launch. I don't believe it's much. I think mostly just RPM launch around 7000. I have 26" QTP's
On my old setup I was able to do a 1.60 on my 255/40 falken rt615k around 16psi tire pressure I think 7psi of boost off of launch. I think your softer sidewall will help vs my street tire.
Clutch stuff pissed me off ! Lol
GL with your car !

Thanks man. I went through SRP Coatings. He happened to have one core on-hand which was this one and it was already shaved. I really like how clean and smooth looking it is. A local Evo guy here had BAD luck with Detective Coatings. They did a ****ty job on his cover and didn't even put the fittings back on the back and side of the cover. It turned into a real mess. But anyways, glad your car turned out badass. Love the FFM setups!

I thought it was twinscroll by the spool on the stock block...congrats you have a great powerband for SS. With a 1.5 sixty and better shifts with new clutch you could easily do low 10s the way you sit now.

I think the man behind the keyboard had a little to do with how the car runs haha. Eric's car has the power to pull off a 9.99 with a stock motor, which would be amazing. He's just gotta get seat time and drive it there.

read below shifting isnt the problem, once that launch gets down this sucker is gonna fly. eric can definitely drive the car

I could shift ok 1-3 but once it was time to go into 4th at high RPM it was just like NAH SON. Doesn't help I was NoLifting lol. I'm hoping it's the clutch and not trans but I'll get one if I have to next season

Thank you. That's my target weight eventually but it's going to be tough with a cage
I think car should be finished Friday or Saturday with the new parts.
Clutch was pretty much shot lol

I like it. It runs great. It was 45 today and it started fine with e85. A bigger battery would help with cold weather than my pc680.
Thanks to emery

Also the new quartermaster is great. Super light clutch compared to my Exedy triple and ZERO chatter. I lost reverse in my trans though lol. 1-4 is great still
