STM tuned 550hp 6466 stock motor *updated* 9.8 @ 145!

long story. Results at the bottom !
Might start a build thread, but my car is pretty much done for now until I put a motor in. I wanted every part on this car I could possibly have besides a built motor.
My original goal with this car was a 140 trap car that could knock off a low 10second pass. Driven to and from the track, and on the street whenever.
After pretty much losing the whole spring and summer to building this car and tuning, I decided it was time to stop f*cking around and bring the car to STM.
My previous tune at 31-34 psi ran 11.7 @ 117. I thought my clutch was toast. Something was wrong. Emery told me to bring it up and see what it does. First pull it made 312hp/268 tq or something Maybe something was wrong with the car.
Boost leak test was perfect. Compression test yielded 140 across (this car has been making over 400hp and trapped near 130 for the past 4 years on an STM pump gas tune) About an hour and a half later with emery behind the wheel and back on the dyno the car was up 100hp at like 22psi
Couple adjustments and we stopped at 31 psi making a pretty safe 550hp/385tq. Not too bad.

Here are the parts that matter if I remember them all:
stock bottom end Stock cylinder head ports
Okada plasma coils
GSC S3 cams
Magnus V5 intake manifold
Boomba 75mm throttle body
Full Sheepey built turbo kit - 3" intercooler piping -4.5" intercooler core -forward facing manifold -gen2 6466 vband .82 - 2 turbosmart 40mm WG
FIC 2150 Walbro 450 -6 feed line Magnus -10 rail
E85 AEM Series2

Can't thank Emery at STM enough as well as Cory and Austin for stopping everything they were doing to prep my car to be on the dyno. It wouldn't be at this point where it is now without them.
After a few test passes I did a "full pass". I had a horrible launch and had to short shift 4th at 7k due to lockout problems with my tired Exedy triple.
Ran a 10.89 @ 137mph
It's at STM now getting a new quartermaster 8Leg as well as some custom STM spec rear springs to help with my launch. I think I'll reach my goals now and maybe take it farther

Thank you STM and SheepeyBuilt for being apart of my build

Glad you've finally seen the light Eric! Emery, Austin, Cory and everyone else there just get it done, it's that simple. Your car should do 140 pretty easy and glad you can finally meet your goal with this car. It's been a long time coming for you man. Glad to have ya on the team!

The 6466 is a great turbo all around. Pumps out good numbers on pumpgas and keeps your bottom end happy most importantly. STM never disappoints!

Thanks guys !
Yea the power band would probably be a little better with a 6266 or 62 but I wanted to keep things safe down low and make all the power up top.
I can't imagine this thing on another 15 psi. Turbo is just getting warmed up now lol.

I wanna get some nice pictures taken, all mine are cellphone pics and look horrible once uploaded.

It has twin Wastegates bc I was having boost creep issues. Thought it was a design problem, or a vband housing problem but it was actually a tune problem (when I was making 300hp on 34psi lol)
sheepey added another wastegate to help me out no questions asked, and made the other dumptube for FREE. nothing to do with his product just all on my end. Great customer service and a great person

The valve cover is Candy Blue by justin @ DetectiveCoating. Matches my tial blue stuff perfectly as well as the hallman. I don't have much done on this car but he did my whole previous setup. Only person I'll go too. And he's a DSM'r himself so it's cool.

ah ok nice. I went with anodized blue since TiAL says all their colors are anodized. I'm running blue TiAL WG and BOV. Shall see how it matches once I get everything put back together.

I haven't seen the anodized in person yet but I'm sure it's pretty close. It just has like a more satin finish while being a candy type color still. I bet it'll look pretty awesome

Congratulations to you and STM on the achievement!
I think we both share a very close setup and times; I am on a stock block as well but using F1/Full blown , tb, S3’s with an HTA86 on 31 psi/E85 and had my best run so far to be 10.9@135mph.
My Exedy twin is getting tired and starting to experience lock outs occasionally as well. I am curious though, how much boost do you launch with? And what tires are u on?
I am on 255’s Hancook ventus evo all season, and my best 60’ is 1.73 at 20 psi tire pressure, ~6 psi launch boost @ 6750rpm.
I hope we both dip into the mid 10’s soon…lol
Cheers!
