Well this makes things interesting http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...tegory_Code=SP

Seems like FP runs a sale on there old school turbos as soon as Tom posts up results from there new one. Ah the beauty of free marketing. Anyway someone with a 2.0 buy this turbo already.

Were you brake boosting? AFR looks like it was brake boosting.

Either way, not bad. Still not a fan of some of these stock appearing turbos for 700+. Reminds me of the old DSM days, we have better options now for the money.

IMO the FP sale right now with the FP Black/manifold/oil line combo is a winner.

I'm most interested in a comparison from Black to Zero on the same car.

He had a BB black on the car that tom tuned before he switched to the Zero.

Numbers on it can be found on toms (TSCOMPTUNED) facebook page.

I have a zero as well that'll be going on my stock 2.0 shortblock. For a street car a stroker or 2.4L is the way to go.

Wow this thing is making more power than 5leeper 6466. i realize that more boost was ran but not enough for a 100 horses. This turbo cant be better than a 6466.

There is one on 93oct of this car. I just didn't overlay anything yet.

I didn't think to ask to get tach videos of the car during tuning (tuned on the street). If we can find a dynojet it will be going on it. I'm hoping to see about 820ish in 3rd on the real dyno.

I'm sure ill tune this on a 2.0L and share it for you. If I was doing this on a 2.0L id probably have the boost around 45psi depending on the setup.

No the customer was not brake boosting. Thanks for the compliment though . I was also surprised by the spool curve in 4th. Its all about the setup. His setup is very responsive and spools real nice.

Thanks Michael! Badass turbo for sure! I think the Zero should stand for Zero competition

5leepers car has a restriction. I make the same power he makes with 8psi less boost. I suspect its the small runners on his manifold hurting top end.

5leeper made 715@36psi. This car made 605 @32 PSI. At 44psi this car touched 800. Doing the math 5leeper gaining the same power per PSI as this car (15hp/psi) would gain around 120whp at 44psi. So that would be 835ish. Now that is no small accomplishment for the Zero to be in anywhere colder to the level of the 6466. But I think pound for pound the 6466 has the advantage up top and the Zero has a spool advantage.

that sounds like a fair assumption. i just cant fathom how this turbo is spooling and making power. im sure this would still make full boost before a 6466 up to 40psi. the 6466 will take you further thats forsure. I doubt this turbo can handle 50psi, but i could be wrong.
