Cobb doesn't make accessports for the Evo 8/9 anymore. You would have to find a used one, even so they didn't make that many of them.

On a Evo 8/9 its not really worth having. A accessport is essentially a external hard drive that holds mutiple tunes (ex. pump gas map, E85 map). Subaru guys like them because Cobb has set stages for the WRX/STI (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 2+, etc.) and the Subaru accessports come with OTS maps that fit whatever stage the owners car happens to be at. It is also a diagnostic tool that shows most relative engine information happening in the car at a moment in time. You can also datalog with it.

A accessport will serve no real purpose on a Evo that is tuned already. It would merely just be a tool to look at the information your engine is putting out. Most Evo guys datalog with Evoscan.

My advice is just have your tuner get you set up with tephramod, this way you can have two maps and you won't need a accessport to switch between the two.

What the poster above said. Useless on an 8/9. Cobb pulled out the 8/9 market once ECUFlash and EvoScan took off. They along with Vishnu were the earlier options.
