2 examples of 6466s at 500whp+

Rather than make separate threads for these cars, I decided to make one and show that when the cars have all the same mods you truly can expect to see the same power with only small variations because of things like stock cylinder heads.

The 2 cars belonged to Chris and Sean. They are both 2.0L MIVEC motors, S2s/springs, on 92 octane. The normal 4" ETS intercooler and Fuel Injector Clinic injectors were used to keep things happy and well fed, while 3" exhausts let everything out. They are stock ECU cars on Omni 4 bars running our normal SD package. Stock Intake manifolds were also used.

Chris G -

Chris' made really good power and was fairly happy at this power level but like any combo a Magnus V5 will really let it breathe better.

Sean P -

Sean made a little less on pumpgas but as his car is meant for 1/2 mile racing around the NW and western US at Shift Sector 1/2 mile events we spent more time on the Q16 tune. The stock intake manifold was limiting us, but WOW the power went flat out the top. This combo was good for 161mph in the 1/2 from a standing start on an unprepped airstrip in a full weight IX.

Thank you for sharing Aaron.
I am also on 2.0L, S2s/Springs and stock intake/SD.

Looking forward to seeing similar the results on pump/Q16.

Sean used 1450s while Chris was using 1120s. These were both stock ECU, neither car used an AEM ECU.

If Chris went with a ported stock intake manifold and ported TB what do you think he would gain? Every little bit would help.

Maybe 15whp, the gains with ported stock intakes havent been stellar in the testing I have done. On a car that made 636whp, we saw a 21whp gain. When we installed a Magnus on the same car it went up another 51whp at the same boost level.

This doesnt have the 708 pull in it, but its around somewhere.

6466 is a great turbo. I just went 143 in the 1/4 on a stock motor with a V5 and S3 cams making 550awhp. And it still is nice driving around town.
