A single Walbro 450 rewired properly(4 gauge wire) with a larger feed line, fuel rail sporting 2150cc's injectors, and return is good to 700hp. I was at 80% duty cycle on E85 when I hit 650. If we are talking a linear relationship here, the fuel is there for 700hp.

4ga wire is overkill. 10ga quality wire is plenty.

have you done a pull with a voltmeter @ the fuel pump?

the oem wiring cant support the voltage requirement alone, hence the addition of larger gauge wire to the pump. if it's the oem wire alone supplying electricity to the pump, that will be a problem.

have someone sitting in the back with a voltmeter recording the voltage seen & you are yelling out the rpm, 4k, 5k, 6k & 7k. or get super long leads & place the voltmeter in eye site.

he seems to have followed the mrfred rewire which allows high voltage rewire to full capacity and keeps the low circuit. Have you seen the thread?

Drove out to the street car takeover and entered the "King of the bakery" roll race class. Ran about 5 times at moderate power . Made it to the finals against an 8 second drag 240sx with a 2jz and nitrous. Went from a 30-35 mph roll starting in 2nd. Got out on him and he finally ran me down at the top. Had a blast. I went 136mph to his 161mph. He beat me by 4 tenths..

Thanks. I wanted to build a car that was fast and could do anything and still drive like a stock car. Its got a recirculated wastegate, a quiet single disk and full interior. Aside from the gearing being taller then stock it drives like a regular evo with more power.

I've got an autocross next week and that should be a blast. Its a kart track and usually a pretty good turn out.

Responsive turbos are what makes these cars fun

Anything any larger won't have the spool up / hit to slide the car in the lower gears.

I would love to see if a 02 dump would net you even more power....but I know you don't like them

Its the TRE 4th gear savior plate. It slings more oil on the gearset and you could add an external cooler and pump .

Ah, the interwebs.
I've made the most power out of a red with a football field of torque on smoothing 0. On my sixth pull within 15 minutes thru an air filter and a full exhaust. All the other graphs are at smoothing 5 and wavy. I don't think it gets much better then that unless you allow the engine too cool down, use a velocity stack and a Hail Mary. Maybe a mustang/virtual dyno

At the point I'm maxing out the turbo the wastegate is closed and the turbo is spinning to the moon. An 02 dump isn't going to help in this case. Lol

You don't always have to modify these cars to death for them to perform. Good parts selection ,tuning and planning are the key.
