yeah. So if the full catch can wasn’t the culprit then I’ve got another problem on my hands.

Also, stm recommended just running their 3an feed line from the head instead of purchasing that Turbosmart OPR. Emailed them about making me a package with lines, fittings, opr.. and they told me that pretty much.

I don't see the 3an line reducing the pressure that much. My car still had 35psi after the .020" restrictor off the cylinder head for the FP/Xona turbo at 5500rpm with 100psi at the oil filter housing. Worth a try though I guess.

Wow nice work!
That’s gonna be fun going to the grocery store!
Yea a full catch can trying to shove oil out the air filter is gonna make those crankcase pressures skyrocket.

Beasty!

Well this motor finally had enough as of a few weeks ago. Heard rod knocking after a 1-3 pull. Metal shavings on dipstick. Believe it’s a spun bearing. At Kasey’s shop now waiting for Jimmy @ buschur to come pick it up and it’ll get a full rebuild.

Going 2.0 LR this time around.

So actual rebuild is finally beginning this week. Took a while to get motor to buschur as I’ve been dealing with moving and wasn’t really in a rush..

setup will be:

2.0 long rod o-ringed .040 over
half filled block
callies billet crank
manley turbo tuff rods
acl bearings
arp 2000 rod bolts

new valves / seals in head along with a hand port from buschur. (I know I know, Cnc is better yada yada... later may cross that road but this motor build is costing enough right now lol)

I have zero trust in them delivering in 3-4 weeks. I'll be surpised if they can get it back to you in 3-4 months. In reality, I'd guess 8 months, maybe as early as 6 months. Good luck.
