Question Evo 8 possible power levels

Hi
One of my friend's just got his Evo 8 tuned with the following mods:
  • Cat-back Exhaust
  • Intake
  • Braincrower Stage 2 Cams
  • Water/Methanol Injection
When tuned the car made 287 WHP on 95 Oct on a Mainline Dyno. Is that sort of power level expected or is it possible to obtain more from it?
Thanks

Seems pretty low to me. I was making around the same power with just a cat back @ 1.4 bar.

Not sure whether mainline dynos read low or something.

WHAT do you think the issue is?

It might be the dyno reading low or it might be the tune. Hard to say without seeing the tune or knowing the dyno.

I was making 331whp with gsc s1s, intake, boost controller and exhaust at like 21 psi.. probably a low reading Dyno

If the torque is in NM its really low, if it is in LBFT its great. Peak torque is really late for this setup especially running water-meth injection, and AFRs could be a little richer at spool
and leaner in the high rpms for best results.
Mailine dynos are typically heartbreaker dynos so peak HP numbers are good.

the mainline dyno has a weird way of reading, i think there usually is a conversion you have to do to get numbers from. my civic when i had a built k24 made "239" according to the mainline but my tuners conversion estimated 273, i dynoed on a mustang md150 a few weeks later and the car was making 271whp. so basically they spit out a number that is around 12% off so i estimate your bud's number to be around 320-330whp

My friend is looking to run the car on the strip so i guess that is the reason for the tune having the peak torque late?
What sort of power levels would you typically see with this mods?
