First dyno tune. Evo 8 w/ 9 turbo by Evolution Dynamics

Hey All,

First dyno tune TONIGHT! I've been self tuning the car for years with inconsistent results. I'll be really excited to see what Kevin @ EvoD can do for the car.

Mods that matter.

Stock block Evo 8
ARP main/rod/head hardware
Balance shafts gone
Supertech valves (as the head had bent valves when I bought it)
ACL bearings
GSC S1 cams
Milspec 65mm TB
STM UICP
ETS LICP
VRSF intercooler
Curt Brown ported stock manifold
Curt Brown ported Greddy O2 housing
RRE downpipe
Resonated test pipe
STM SS catback
Curt Brown ported 10.5 housing
Evo 9 turbo with FP 84mm cover
FP intake w/ Amsoil filter
Grimmspeed 3-port
Walbro 255
Radium PCV side catch can
NGK BR8EIX

Stock injectors are on the car but I'm bringing a set of Precision 880s that I got from a local a couple weeks ago. Just running pump on the car as I don't have E85 near me. I'm really excited to see what the little turbo will put down before I start putting some money away for either a 71HTA or FP54. I'll post results tonight when I get home!

Make sure to get your Precision injectors cleaned before getting tuned.

They were recently cleaned.

On the dyno now. My crappy tune made a dirty 330 at about 25psi. He’s making the same at 19, now. Car even sounds better.

All right, yall! Happy with the results. We installed the 880s as the stock injectors were maxed out closing in on redline. I didn't get to thrash on the car on the way home as it's pretty wet out, but I could tell that I had quite a bit more midrange where I was stingy with the timing. I'm already itching for a 71HTA, though...

hey I know how you feel I really have no access for e85 unless I want to get some 55 gallon drums, but at least you have 93 which is much better then that **** they call 91. I run 93 with some meth for a little extra .

Nice man! I had similar results and thinking going with the same turbos too, so I'll stay tuned.
