What are you trying to wire up there goBYeBYe? The number of relays depends on the match between input/output of your alarm. Starter kills use one already, but the Evo already has the transponder key starter disable.

i only use this wire if the transponter bypass asks for it or if the alarm does... what are you hookin up? also with all of the dei remote start units, they have a built in starter kill in the relay sat. pack

Im only installing a remote starter. On my previous installs, I only needed to add a relay for the starter kill, which I assume I will need for this one. Im just wondering if I would need any additional ones for anything else.

Also, how/where do I tap the immobilizer bypass, keysense maybe?. this will be my first time installing with a bypass.

thanks.

On my alarm you don't need a "bypass" wire.

What you will need is the ign1 wire, the power wire, the starter wire, and the accessory wire. The transponder relay will need to be powered on, and you need a coil around the ign column.

So its almost like installing a Head unit?

so this is almost like installing an head unit right? matching wires to what the instructions call out ? nothing to complicated correct? -

Sure... but I'd say it's like 100 times harder than a headunit seeing as you have to hunt for the wires and make sure they are right.

A Headunit you really can't go wrong since most are speaker wires and reversing polarity on a speaker won't kill things.

If you reverse the polarity on your alarm you can damage either the alarm or your car.

Have a Pro install your security system. They can do it 10X as fast, and it will look 10X as good. Yes it costs money, but so does deploying an airbag or shorting your computer.

If you guys can wait a few weeks, I will be buying a viper 791 (keyless/remote start) for my IX, and i plan to make a full picture detail thread about installing it, step by step.

looking for help from the pros

Okay this is where we are now..
italics is already connected and working
Bold I need help knowing where to connect
Gray is what I am omitting for now (not connected)

Car: 2006 Evolution IX
Alrm: Autopage RF-520 no remote start

Red Wire: +12V main power -> white (+) ignition /wires at the column
Brown wire+) Siren output -> siren from engine bay

White Wire:12V Parking Light output -> green/white (+) fbox
Orange/Red Wire: Dome Light relay Output -> White (-) fuse box

Black/Green Wire: 200mA (-) Channel 3 Aux
Gray/Red Wire: 2nd Channel trunk release Power input ->dont have module
Orange Wire: (-) 500mA Ground when Armed output -> KEY SENSE WIRE
Gray Wire: 2nd Channel trunk release Relay output -> dont have module
Black/blue Wire: (-) 200mA Channel 4 Aux
Black Wire: (-) System Ground
Violet Wire: (+) Possitive door trigger Input
Green Wire-) Negative door trigger Input -> white wire (-) fuse box white plug
Black/Red Wire: (-) 200mA Channel 5 Aux
Black/Violet Wire: (-) 200mA Channel 6 Aux

Pink Wire: (-) 2 step unlock / factory disarm output** -> Where too/how
Blue Wire: (-) Negative instant trunk/hood trigger -> Green/Orange in the trunk
Red/White Wire: (-) 200Ma HeadLight illimination output** -> where too/how
Brown/White Wire: (-) Horn output -> blue/red (-) horn swith
Yellow Wire (+) 12V Ignition Switch input-> black/white ignition

DESCRITIONS OF WIRES I NEED HELP WITH:

**Red/White Wire: (-) 200Ma HeadLight illimination output:
"This wire will operate the vehicle's factory headlights when integrated with a relay. this output supplies a 200mA negative (-) that will turn the vehicles headlights on 30 secs. when armed and disarmed."

**Pink Wire: (-) 2 step unlock / factory disarm output:
"The 2 steps unlock feature will work for the most fully electronics doorlock circuit. the vehicle must have an electronic door switch, which locks and unlocks all of the vehiecle's doors. When wired for this feature, press <unlock> one time, te alarm will disarm and unlock the driver's door only. If you press <unlock> two times with in 3 seconds, the alarm will disarm and unlock all doors"

The above a two features i bought this systems for orignally when I had it in my previous car, and the installer today did not install... I went over all the wiring and realized i could've done this myselft; he only charge me 50 bucks. =)

so far my car locks and unlocks all doors with the alarm transmitter, and I know the answer lies within the PINK wire but Im not sure if maybe i need to substitute it for the GREEN unlock wire? or if it needs to be connected somewhere...
